Goldman upgraded my PH to a buy from neutral this morning; but the effects are muted. I am enjoying minor declines in just about everything but FAZ, PH, PWER, FORM and JST.

Go2Mars, Sorry I didn’t respond on the other post, I was napping also. I watch copper, ore, coal etc…in relationship to bonds, equities, f/x. Did you see ore in Dec was 6.5% down YoY to china for imports, along with copper being down on physical imports. China’s New 5 year plan is coming out this year and china govt wants to slow. Yes, they are still giving out money for small appliances to rural people, but auto stimulus is gone and one city last night was talking about imposing property taxes, which they don’t do. China Govt has a lot of issues at the local level with bad loans and corruption. China Govt spent like crazy in 2009 to save the world, the world never really thanked them at all. Yes, they have some energy saving plans, but they are not spending like they did…and historically, they don’t buy copper when the arbitrage trade with LME is gone. BTW, aren’t you bothered at all with the large holding of LME copper by only a few players….smells like bubble to me if demand falls back in China. imho.
