I will preface this vid with a few facts:

The United States will need to raise its debt ceiling to over $15 trillion by mid-2011 (HELLO TEA PARTY)

In 2011, advanced nation governments will need to borrow $10.2 trillion dollars, up 7% from 2010.

In 2011, The U.S. will need to borrow $4.2 trillion, representing 28% of economic output. Greece will need to raise $69 billion, or 24% of economic output.

Even if they don’t, I still like the name. I want you to understand, today’s sell off is tepid and is not scary enough to get me to raise cash. Ten thousand apologies for the lack of first tier blogging here today, as I was busy scurrying about the city for an anniversary present.

As you can readily see, one day removed from my VXX disaster and I am making sick coin again, up about 1.5% for the day. Shorts are getting their pumpkins smashed in FTK, FEED and SNIC today and it’s only the beginning. FTK will post better than expected earnings this quarter. The company already upped the forecast. Looking out into 2011, I see lots of FREE MONEY. Yeah, motherfucker. Because of this fact, I feel at home (ATHM) being long degenerate OTB stocks.

The employment data was good, not great, which is perfect. Ben and co. have a hard on for the stock market. They want it to go up, in order to precipitate a “wealth effect.” So, with that in mind, I’ve been extending my long exposure.

I bought a little GU yesterday and I bought a little more today. In addition, I added to my EJ position, based upon the idea that real estate will never go down in China, as long as QE2 money floods their markets, looking for tangible assets.

Yes! Do it well and often.

Go borrow money from banks, credit cards, the mafia, whoever, then margin it up and toss it all into stocks. If Bill Gross thinks the dollar has 20% downside from here, then the market has 40% upside.

“Obama open to idea of extension of Bush tax cuts for all income levels”

That is the news that would force me to cover short, or in this case sell my VXX, so I did. I locked in a 50% loss, in what can only be described as one of my worst trades ever. I’ve had plenty of bad trades, but not of this size and magnitude. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to execute this trade while up big. And, furthermore, I was able to stem the bleeding via long positions. It’s a chapter that I am glad and relieved to close.

With some of the proceeds, I played more lotto, buying 40,000 EJ.
