Ten thousand apologies for the lack of first tier blogging here today, as I was busy scurrying about the city for an anniversary present.
As you can readily see, one day removed from my VXX disaster and I am making sick coin again, up about 1.5% for the day. Shorts are getting their pumpkins smashed in FTK, FEED and SNIC today and it’s only the beginning. FTK will post better than expected earnings this quarter. The company already upped the forecast. Looking out into 2011, I see lots of FREE MONEY. Yeah, motherfucker. Because of this fact, I feel at home (ATHM) being long degenerate OTB stocks.
The employment data was good, not great, which is perfect. Ben and co. have a hard on for the stock market. They want it to go up, in order to precipitate a “wealth effect.” So, with that in mind, I’ve been extending my long exposure.
I bought a little GU yesterday and I bought a little more today. In addition, I added to my EJ position, based upon the idea that real estate will never go down in China, as long as QE2 money floods their markets, looking for tangible assets.

Fly, for real? Holy shit. God those were the days of the daytrader. Excite, Lycos, ATHM, DCLK, CMGI, NSCP, YHOO. ………kinda reminds me of this “new normal”. We didn’t have the FED priming the pump then, but god we had new Intel processors in our computers and cable modems to get market access at home. I used to have 5 CRT monitors plastered across a huge desk. It looked like my office was a NASA monitoring station. The heat from those suckers used to make the house hotter than hell. Damn- those were the days! Anyone remember that “blowoff” top in YHOO. That mother fucker screamed like 50 pts that day. I couldn’t buy, I couldn’t short, I was staring at my screen frozen. I couldn’t believe anyone would want this complete pos search engine at these levels. Hind sight was 20/20. Every short in the stock capitulated that day and YHOO started its descent into the teens from the 200’s.

That company provided the all time WORST customer service. Should have levered up to short it!! I think some one did buy them and they are now history.

This is all bubblelicious. They created the dot com buble. They created the real estate buble. Now they are creating new bubbles. That is just what they do. People who participate make money. Lets see how big they can make this buble before it burst.
I worked in the first bubble, played golf during the second bubble…maybe it’s time to go back to work for the third bubble with other people’s money – no concsience, no worries, just go levered long and take 20%…like taking candy from a baby.

Like I said on Jake’s blog, I have no problems with Olbermann making donations. But MSNBC really needs to follow in Fox’s footsteps, admitting that it isn’t politically unbiased.
