Fly, I have been looking into VXX this morning, and I found some interesting, yet disturbing information. At first glance, VXX looks like a terrible investment vehicle. The VIX is currently up over 1%, yet VXX is down over 1%. VXX clearly has a very hard time tracking its underlying index. In addition to this, XXV is barely up. I am wondering why you choose to use VXX as your shorting mechanism when it is clearly not performing as it is supposed to.
