I think the market is stuck in a trading range. Only very bad news will take the market further down. It is also hard for the market to move up from here too. I will use oscillators in a range bound market

look at what happened after the similar sized correction in june/july 2009…the infamous H&S “top”, death was a near-certainty, back to the antichrist level on SPX…instead balls to the wall.
SPX gets to 1150 again on this move, probably 1250 by May. Everyone expects “trading range” which is why it won’t happen – or not for that long.

what this country does not get, is, “assembling” components that were made in other countries is NOT manufacturing….

workers, using the rule of thumb one worker per $300,000 sales.
That is two thirds of the USA auto manufacturing labor force; and

that’s fucking funny as hell dude. First of all, auto sales are not going to come back for a long long time. Old cars are perfectly serviceable. The price of oil needs to get to $300 for people to give up on their current used vehicle and invest in an electric alternative. When that happens, cars won’t be an issue any longer. Guns and food will be the only concern. Regardless of that, your assumptions are based on sales estimates that will never occur and labor levels ruled by unions. Unions are not going to be part of the equation moving forward.
The arrogance of trying to dictate job growth in chosen industries… it’s spectacular. I shake my head in awe at it.
