With that in mind, my man, Chuck Bennett, will be escorted back to the Peanut Gallery, starting 10/01/09. Everyone loves a good Chuck; but I need to do a little trimming. Additionally, Mr. Treu, as much as I laugh at his humour [sic], offers zero value for stock investors. As a result of this horrifying fact, he is a goner. And, finally, with the hurricane season over, Dr. ‘Cane hits the bricks.
Let it be known, I will hire all three, once again, during the summer of 2010—mainly to liven up the moribund nature of the site (think Woodshedder).
As for adding new bloggers, I am always on the lookout for talent. So, if you are interested in gifting the world with your presence, keep posting in the Peanut Gallery, for I might just pluck you out, pay you a salary and put you on the road to unmatched riches.

These are the times when you really get the playbook on how not to trade (or make love, or mow your lawn) from a guy like The Dope. I mean he’s all over the place trying anything he can think of to get a win, but he’s not spending more than an hour or two there. What the hell happened to patience and persistence? When your “system” is based on little more than a few pattern scanning algorithms and the blind bet that resistance will hold regardless of circumstances it’s easy to feel lost in a hurry. It’s one thing to say the market is headed lower, lots of smart people think that’s the case. It’s a whole other bundle of “I don’t know what the fuck I’m doing” to call out GE in the single-digits and never once follow that up.
At least the guy at XTrends holds his paper positions come hell or high water. I’d love to get a hold of those crusty Matlab programs they are releasing that tell you exactly how much of a draw down you can take before you have to shut down your blog and look for work.
