Prepare For Friday Fuckery

The markets are down this morning, mainly due to profit taking. The reports out of Bank of America Corporation [[BAC]] , Citigroup Inc. [[C]] and General Electric Company [[GE]] were benign, which should lend some confidence to under-invested fund managers. I can tell you, knowing first hand, there are many money managers who have missed out on this run. Those clown-fuckers will be shining shoes for a living, unless they start putting their testicles on the line.

That’s right bozo, you need to risk having your balls cut off, in order to keep your jobs. Any takers?

With my money, I might buy the dip in [[ENTR]] . The stock is bizarre and insane; but, generally, it responds rather well on dips. Into strength, I will likely sell my entire [[ERX]] position, which I have a pretty sizable gain on. Remember, my goal is to adhere to a certain investment thesis. To do so, I need to reduce my exposure to certain sectors, oil and gas is one of them. Already, I am long Flotek Industries, Inc. [[FTK]] and SandRidge Energy Inc. [[SD]] . Keeping ERX is equal to taunting a professional boxer with bodily harm; eventually that fucker is going to punch my eyebrows off.

So, in summary, prepare for fuckery of the Friday variety. And, look to take profits, while buying dips. If you can figure that out than you will escape death and live forever, like Dracula sans the desire for warm blood.

im assuming you have a tech/commodity theme and to that i agree. Are you finding more value in other subsectors of the energy complex that are better than oil and gas. Personally feel coal is cheaper btu’s than oil and also has benfit of being a major input for steel. In any event global growth news should make for a sexy time explosion for all of energy

Out of pure loathing for all of the NBC brands (and their sycophancy to the current fascist end-around at the political and financial levels), I dumped all of my GE yesterday.

    Hate wins!

Yogi, why do you bears love the woods so much? Fly is moving right on energy – there are a couple of predictions of $20 oil – production is above usage. There is also at least one prediction of another October crash to 600 on the SP500. GE is everything that the Left accused Halliburton of being – GE loves Obama.

without George “Asshat” Bush in power, and with the Iraq war winding down, poor ol’ Halliburton doesn’t have a hope in hell of making any money for the foreseeable future like they were making.

without George W Bush and his cronnies handing Halliburton contracts under the table left and right…with that cash cow gone and dried up and Obama in power, in a word, you can most likely short Halliburton with impunity.

    carry on.

DMG, If you don’t understand that Dick Cheney and his underground criminal outfit gave Halliburton billions of dollars in “no bid” contracts in Iraq, up to as much as 20 billion in total….and that cash cow has dried up, leaving them back to the usual means of work, and income dating back to 2002 levels….then you my friend are the dumbass. Do some reading on it.

Clinton was the 1st to give hal no bid contracts prior to Pres. Bush doing so. As the Master Cheney would have it, Obama is continuing the tradition.

            Ar-teest,
It would behoove you to stick to talking about how much you hate cnbc and don’t watch it anymore or perhaps the lack of financial credibility and illegal immigration status of the prospective buyers of your cousin’s house.
Or maybe even tell me again what you do for a living as you’ve only mentioned it thirteen thousand times.
What you should not do however, is suggest i read up on the inner-workings of my beloved Haliburton.
Haliburton faced similar controversies almost 40 yrs ago during the vietnam war/conflict. I imagine they will probably never rid themselves of these claims as long as they continue to pad the pockets of those in power and win, even when they appear to be losing.
Perhaps you should ‘do some reading’ on a company called Brown & Root, now known as Kellog, Brown & Root, aka KBR.
Also, see how they react after the 2:1 splits (07/97 & 07/06)
“as long as man exists, there will always be war ”

If 90% of all my work came from one source, and that source went away, then yes, my income potential would look bleak. I would have to go out and hope I can find another source equal to the prior one.

In the case of a cash cow WAR in Iraq giving Halliburton 20 Billion in work, and that source drying up, yes, then all that easy money will not be there for them in the near future like it has been in the past.

Joe Biden is the poster boy for why minimum government is the best government. Face it! America is full of morons who are easily manipulated by other morons such as Joe. This Obamacare and Cap and Tax will crush any chance of a decent recovery.
