ACTING DIVERGENT

Today marks another interesting divergence, where small caps were weak off the open, and sold off here a bit ago, dragging stocks down with it. This occurred several times over the last couple weeks, and we’d see the Russell rip back up into its range around this time of day, pulling the market up along with it.

If that happens here today, I simply stay the course. That is what that divergence has been great for over the last 4 weeks.

I haven’t bought anything yet today aside from Crude at $38.55. I am watching $MTCH, $FIT and $RPD for longs.

We spoke in After Hours with Option Addict yesterday about the middle of the day 12 point rip in the Russell while the other indices laid flat. Today, both the Russell and Nasdaq are in trend mode, leaving the Dow and S&P behind. This is happening while oil trades lower to the tune of -3%.

I’m watching $FTNT, $PACB, $FIT and select cyber security names. April was a rotational month for risk stocks and I am trying to build out my lists here this week.

Will update on any buys here shortly.

First off, wanted to thank those of you for the nice comments over the last couple days. It’s been a tough stretch and that stuff goes a long way with me. Thank you.

As for today, I started my position in April $FSLR calls this morning, as discussed in After Hours with Option Addict. I also picked up some $CMG weekly calls at the open and am long crude at $38.94. !am debating buying $WDAY here today as well.

Not much else I am watching here, so feel free to hit me up with ideas.

Quick update for After Hours with Option Addict patrons….we’ll meet today briefly to set up watchlists for next week.

Also, I’m looking to build a good sized call position in FSLR ahead of next month’s analyst meeting. We’ll discuss after the close.

I was making it rain yesterday, which is a sure sign to pack your shit and run to the sidelines.

I bought $HABT calls and $VALE shares today. Haven’t sold anything yet. Will likely have to sell a few things into the close, depending on how the day shakes out.

More importantly, I am taking off for the day. My youngest has been in and out of the hospital over the last month, and he’s not doing too well today. We may try to transfer him elsewhere to someone who gives a shit…which will continue to keep me preoccupied.

No After Hours with Option Addict folks, my apologies. Plan on tomorrow for a quick review ahead of the long weekend.
