WOULD YOU RATHER?

My guts are telling me that a Amazon short against a basket of retail names will beat the market by a good sized spread.

Would you rather stick to an Amazon long here? Or even purchase Amazon, for that matter.

…OR…

Take this opportunity to buy retail stocks?

Keep in mind that most retail stocks have trended lower for at least 2-3 years. Amazon also happens to be the #1 most overowned stock in the market.

What say you?

I was a little early on this move, but have been accumulating positions in China internet stocks for the last few weeks. That move has been set into motion.

The Shanghai is having a solid week, and China related equities are of the top performers on the week…right up there with biotech.

Suffice it to say, 2017 has started with winship on a 2014-like scale. If you recall, I grew my accounts to +25% in the first 2-3 weeks of January in that year. Never have I started a year that well…and yet gave it all back and moar.

I’m on the lookout for any reason to tapout with my wins. Should the unwashed show up in here to boast of winship, I’ll shut shit down and see you in May.

Watching $BZUN, $CLF, $JD. Bought $JWN and $PBYI stock this morning.

The assbag strikes again. This time he’s squatted over the long loved US Steel ($X) in his remarks after hours of his top “simple” ideas for the coming year.

I scoff, because $X was of my top ideas exactly one year ago, when I purchased for $7.

Enjoy the sloppy seconds, pal. Longs in US Steel, protect yo’ neck.

Nothing worse than getting Dennis’d for 2017.

Last week I blogged an OA Buy in $XBI. The following day I blogged about rating my entry, for no purpose whatsoever.

Today, my Biotech rotation cometh.

I’ve got a big-dicked position in $LABU I’ve been holding nearly a year, $XBI, $NK and $ADRO. I missed my entry in $ONCE yesterday, which really has me bummed. This $PBYI I almost took yesterday, but the options are like Lara Flynn Boyle thin.

On the day, I added $CELG calls, and also took my $ATI position I’d been planning, took $VEEV calls and bought some $CMG weekly calls for next week.

Back in mid May, I disclosed my investment into Bitcoins. I got an overwhelming response of silence and lack of interest. I absolutely love when that happens.

Over these last few days, I’m catching more than the occasional question about this badass idea that everyone passed over. Folks asking about the purchase, where to get an account, or asking my thoughts.

Therefore, it’s nearly time to sell my coins to those that are interested. Since my basis was just under $450, I’m happy with the time spent. Here’s the chart I posted in May:
