It’s been hard to get much traction in swing trading, but its been great to see you guys navigating this market so quickly.
There’s been a lot of solid group think in the chat, so thank you for your participation.
As discussed in After Hours with Option Addict last night, I like the idea of a bounce here for the remainder of the week. This may only go so far as to create lower highs in the market, and get that VIX back down to 16-17. From there, if you are a bear, you better come out fighting. If you are a bull, better pick your top prospects right here and now.
The charts I posted on yesterday’s blog seem to be good for at least a 10% market move at minimum from these prices. Within a week and a half to two weeks from now, that move will begin.
Good long tails and strength in a few growth names today. We’ll see how they perform into a little market strength this week.

Bought $FEYE this afternoon. Stop at 27.50. Order in for 1/2 position of $SUNE at 17.50 for a long term hold if it pays it another visit. $BAC back below where i sold it last (+/- 17.50 at option expiration). If we end up in a deflationary, low rate environment, is that still a reasonable play?

In at 9.40 with a stop below today’s low. Don’t really like the overnight risk but taking a swing. If I’m wrong make sure @Chub gets his share of the money…

I bought a small amount of calls in FB, BABA, and MBLY late in the day. The latter 2 look strong so far, but who knows in this market anymore. My KORS calls were obliterated today on a single downgrade to Neutral.
KORS – mine too. Hedged by TLT at the moment, but damn. Was sure retail was going to run a bit.

Having diverted nearly all of my funds away from the stock market I can’t help but put my meager account balance on 1 trade into the fed…GLD jan 116 puts.
every dip gets bought. 2015 is a bull market yr for anything precioius metal related. So many bears had been calling for a crash in that sector.
Uhhh, and they got it dude. Those stocks are down like 90% from their tops.
