So, we got the rally…but the pulse is shit.
Same story, XLV, XLU, XLP outperforming. Retail not too bad today and the homebuilders are hot. However, the names holding the relative strength card into weakness, such as TWTR, BABA, etc.. “turded” out today.
I think this carries on for another week until market morale improves, which at this point seems totally impossible.
As for the day, I missed AMBA that we discussed last night, picked up KEG shares, and tried to trade for a break in GPRO but got punched in the face for a quick loss.
I like TSLA into tomorrow, maybe SCTY here as well.

I’ll play either side but I do think we go lower. This area is big and my NQ is just a daytrade. I haven;t decided which sectors to go after yet on the short side if we sell but it might not matter as most things will go down. I like home builders and AG stocks if break higher and am long a few already.

Looks like it would be to late to short PEIX and JOY and to late to go long LOCO and DGLY. The only maybes are BABA and UBNT IMO.

$CSIQ is putting in a higher low, coming out of it’s bullish wedge. Time is running out on my Jan 23’s. Might have to roll out
Thanks for the compelling case for $FEYE a couple of days back, OA. I put that on a list of stocks I would never buy for any reason ever again no matter what a little while back, but I overcame that based on the good case you made, and it’s been a nice winner. Modest equity position instead of options, but a winner nonetheless. Off to a nice start in $SCTY too. Still thinking about that $VIX though. Maybe towards the end of the day I’ll take a half position. I am also really interested in $TLT on the short side, so I should clearly not be touching anything else right now.
