Not a bad idea for earnings but I would purchase today or tomorrow because that IV is steady climbing. With all the income tax filings and the holiday season one has to think a record 1st quarter will be on hand.

sold half of DANG Mar 10 call options…running on house’s money now. badly played trade on my part since I bought in on Jan 2nd, and missed two sell opportunities prior to today. I should have made multiple trades with shorter dated options, instead of riding the March option.
Yeah I’ve been noticing with these fast movements that it’s safer and sometimes more profitable to actively trade and babysit.
But I would’ve missed the run in SONS if I only got the Feb’s instead of the Apr’s purchased in January.
But I’ll always take a win… nice trade yosh
Thanks…I think my longer dated option was fine, but where I mismanaged was not selling for profit sooner. I actually wanted to sell earlier this month pretty close to $11, and I lost track of it in the midst of everything else I was doing. I never initially intended to play this through earnings. How ’bout that PAY…good start.

I think I first read about FRAN on Fly’s blog. Maybe I’ll give it a shot here, looks like calls are hovering just over .25 which puts them in my price range.

Yah I wouldn’t touch the options on this, they’re too thinly traded IMO. Vol pocket to 24, I bought stock @18.2 hoping for the 30% gain on the fill.
I’m in Mar 20’s, and they’re treating me well so far (+95%)… I was just saying if you were to get options on this I’d wait
