It’s over…again.
Whatever bull market you thought you had is now over. The end of the rally coincided with the beginning of my vacation, which is so far marked by HARROWING mountain turns and “flip your cover over” steep driveway inclines and of course bears — which produce a most delightful EYES ON THE WOODS decorum at night.
Aside from all of the mountain people being mad as fuck up here, angry at the wind for blowing their way, things are going exactly as expected. “The Fly” is more of a Newport, RI — WARD MCCALLISTER, champagne cocktails by the shore type of person. This fucking CABIN IN THE WOODS scene is for lumberjacks and skiFAGS.
Today I deployed 30% of my assets into old man stocks, with a median yield of 3% and treasuries. The trend has been broken. I repeat, the trend has been broken and now we’re sliding down the other side of the mountain with angry mountain bears biting at our wheels on the way down.

Frankly the OB was back in June and this “fun” time has been cherry picked stocks running on virus news and other b.s. You’ve done beyond well so kudos to you. You don’t take sides of a trade you just make money.
But the downtrend has been here silently. Big money was gone. Now retail might be cashing out and other than Tech Storks, Q2 news is not great. People think Q3 will be all the rage. Doubt it. Next year at least.
TLT is always nice. Kinda wish you did your board the ark thesis. Maybe some warning. But taking a vacation was warning enough.

The rotation is on to historically undervalued small cap growth and value stocks and some materials stocks and energy plays. ( see 1975-76).
