The worst thing any trade could do it delay a sale because of an ideal price that you want to lock in. Most of the time this price is an intra-day high or some fucking superstition, a round number — rookie shit. This morning I sold APRN for a 2.1% overnight success. It had been higher in the morning — but that didn’t stop me from taking the lower price.
It’s better to have one in hand than two in the bush — you animals.
You don’t need to top tick every trade. The stated goal here is to win more than you lose, which could be easily achieved if you’re gunning for the ‘fat middle.’ These are trades, nothing more or less. We’re not voting at the annual meetings and we have zero emotional attachment to them. If we are truly trading, stocks should not grow stale in the portfolio. This is not a best ideas approach, which means you sell if your positions are boring you to death — doing nothing.
Markets are strong following weak GDP numbers (+2.1%). Apparently the consumer is still on fire and that’s giving people the idea that maybe, just maybe, with the weak GDP numbers — THREE FED CUTS is still gonna happen.
Whether it happens or not is immaterial to me. We will trade that market, just like we trade this one.
TEAM smashed numbers and is sharply higher. Look to SAAS stocks for continued high probability gains.
