Wake Me Up When Something Interesting Happens

This is the point in the narrative that bores me — slow grind, endless earnings reports that produce unpredictable outcomes, trend-less tape highlighted by indecorous people with low IQs and high opinions of themselves. It really, truly, makes me want to sleep in.

My Quant is +62bps and my trading account is off by 25bps. I have lots of cash and little interest in buying into a tape that has sharply lower oil, buy higher junk bonds, lower nasdaq, and breadth at 65%. Traditionally, this is what topping action looks like. Then again, markets rarely go down anymore, so I’d rather sit and wait for confirmation.

In the meantime, SAAS stocks look good and I’ll be fishing for more trading there — presently long ZEN, HUBS, DOCU — just to name a few.
