Take a look at shares of BPTH, higher by 400%+ today.
Within the sector, there are about a dozen stocks running double digits, such as ALT, SEEL, and ARQL. When stocks run like this, I like to do keyword searches to find companies in the same field, for sympathy runs.
Based on this simple ideology, I bought SNSS. Why the fuck not?
Markets are still weak, but moderating. They think they’re going to make it.

Seriously Fly, pick a random low-volume (<200k shares/day) stock every week and watch this play out over and over. Of course, while this would be truly unethical (buy it, pump it, dump it on your followers), I'm really not sure if this is legal or not.
Of course, biotech is all lottory, so I won't be shorting this one because there's a non-zero chance (ie, bad luck) that I'll get my head blown off if they make some breakthrough announcement.
Nothing necessarily unethical about sharing a sympathy spec play. Fly was clear that his fundamental research on this was nil.
I hope that bloggers don’t have to start posting disclaimers on every post.
It seems to me that as long as FLY posts his trades and avoids suggestive language (“I bought SNSS. Why the fuck not?” is much better than “I bought SNSS. Why the fuck don’t you?”) then I don’t see a problem.
It would be much different inside Exodus if he posted his trades (where his trades would likely constitute advice to his members) and then sold them as his members were buying, unless he posted his price target ahead of time.

I should be clear here: I don’t think Fly *is* pump-and-dumping. I’m just saying that would be a more profitable strategy (Cramer HAS admitted to pump-and dump in his pre crazy-man-with-a-TV-show-days)
I’m also stating that due to his influence, he can move the stock prices of these micro caps, as clearly evident from the volume spikes.
In other words, even if Fly’s intentions are good (and I have **no** indication they aren’t), the *effects* of his actions are the same: an artificial price spike, followed by a drop.
I’m just sharing what I’m doing. Quit overanalyzing it.
