Traders MUST pay attention to chart patterns and price levels.
Investors should at least look at obvious levels of price resistance and support for best results, but for multi-year time frames that most people adhere to, even this is not absolutely necessary.
I’ve been burned on the long-term horizon as well when I ignored the chart and started shorting NFLX while it still had a lot of momentum.
PS DIS was #3 winner and NFLX was #2 loser (after GE) on mega caps (S&P100)
