Guess What? We’re Gonna Make Even More Gains Today

I know, it’s too early for this shit; but I wake up with a lot of energy. I’m what one might call a morning person. I’m at my happiest in the morning and that mood slowly dissipated into unbridled rage by midnight, at which point I’m coerced into meaningless forms of digital entertainment in order to distract me from the pangs and the misery of this rote existence. That sounded a lot more depressing than it needed to be, but I liked the way it flowed from my fingers onto the keyboard.

Futures are higher and BITA is sharply higher. I sold that too early. Also, PVTL crushed numbers and is ravaging higher too. You should expect all SAAS companies to demolish guidance, unless they’re poorly managed. I cannot stress this enough right now. This is the hottest sector in tech, but not for the reasons that one might think. This is hot because it’s attracting all of the sociopathic people into sales roles, which is then paying off in spades. In other words, all of the young men who might’ve take on the role of stock broker 20 years ago, making his way via networking and hard cold calls, those people are now getting into software sales and making a mint in enterprise level solicitations.

The company with the greatest sales team wins. I can tell you, after doing some due diligence, HUBS, ZEN, MDB, and CRM have great teams; but I’m certain almost all publicly traded SAAS teams are following similar models and have equal success.

Growth hacking via understanding data and using that knowledge to convince people to buy. This is Glen Gary’s sales class 101.
