The rumor is, aside from RUSSIAN FAKE NEWS (fucking CNN) is that the Kingdom of Qatar paid a billion dollars for 26 hostages, who were hunting in Southern Iraq. What the fuck were they hunting?
Whatever the reason may be, our cromagnon Sec of State, Rex Tillerson, is calling for the shit to stop — especially since we have military assets in that country and the blockade is causing kids to skip school.
Saudi Arabia claimed Qatar is supporting terrorism and they’re not going to take it anymore. This is rich, coming from a country whose soccer team just refused to observe a minute of silence for the innocents killed in the London attacks.
The Al Udeid U.S. military base in Qatar houses over 10,000 military personnel and is a hub for CENTCOM, vital to operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
We’re finally seeing some tangible losses in the tech sector, and the NASDAQ as a whole. The widely owned FAAGS (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Google, Snapchat) trade is taking a breather today. Thus far, there is no reason to be concerned, unless of course you were betting on weekly call options.
Perhaps the market can now get destroyed, crashed, with no survivors.

At the very minimum, a serious and arduous drop in the indices will help the VIXfags recover from their record, breath-taking, losses. In smaller cap stocks, the losses have extended to more than 2%.
My model forced me to sell half of my risk off assets, GLD, TLT. Additionally, I sold every God damned stock that I owned, because the market cap was all wrong. This week was all about small cap. Since I’ve been quantitatively tracking this, I’ve seen the market reward smaller and smaller capped companies over the past 5 weeks. As such, I am now long a basket of 12 stocks, across various industries, in the $1-5b market cap quintile.
Everything else had a lackluster week. Mostly, stocks were flat, aside from the smaller ones.
I understand the risk inherent in allocating assets into a strategy that is backward looking. However, predicting the future is even harder. Mostly, stocks in motion tend to stay in motion. When a gorilla run is set to ensue, very rarely will it end in 1 week. In my studies, large runs usually stretch for 7 weeks. The point of this systematic approach is to discipline my allocation into what’s working now — forcing a quick end to bad trades and underperformance. I am chasing alpha, but in a smart way.
One of my hobbies is to collect old newspapers. I find that reading the prose and the news events of yesterday, as they were written then, to be of immense entertainment. Nowadays, we fashion ourselves to be of supreme intellect, casting aspersions at our Victorian Era reprobates. But can anyone else argue the indelible fact that — at least — they knew how to build a better home back then? One hundred years hence and people still prefer the style and design of those Victorian era homes. Personally, I like a newer home — but I do enjoy looking at the old ones.
I came across this article today, which spoke of ‘bicycle insanity.’ According to the good doctors back then, women were going insane from the wheel. Apparently it was afflicting their spine, in turn, they were going insane. I am certain plenty of poor women were tossed into asylums by their husbands back then, after taking to the wheel one too many times.
Does anyone else dispute these claims? Clearly, women who take to the wheel too often are insane. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. While people do not get ‘bicycle humps’ anymore, the seats are rarely any good, which is likely the reason why so many women out there are haggardly hogging up the road, riding erratically and without decorum or respect for the road.
Clearly, insane
For some reason this reminds me of the little show given at the Hugh Mercer’s Apothecary in Fredericksburg, VA. If you’re ever in that town, definitely go check it out. Also, the local pizza shop there sells the largest pies I’ve ever seen in my life.
Because he wants to save the world from ‘climate change’, Frances Macron wants to impose an ass-raping carbon tax of 30 euros per ton of CO2 emissions — which is an astounding 6x the current price. If approved by his superiors in Germany, this would equate to a very nice and very large windfall for anyone long carbon credits.
German utilities, namely RWE AG and Uniper SE, said such a plan would crush them — leading to job losses. Those jobs, however, are in the way of progress.
France tried and failed to pull this stunt last year, in an effort to supplement the EU’s Emissions Trading System (lolz) — but failed. The subsequent result was ‘pollution rights’ prices plunged and are down more than 80% since 2008.
Desperate for gains, France thought about doing a unilateral price floor for carbon — but ditched the effort ahead of the Presidential elections because labor unions were chimping out because it’d lead to job losses.
But now that the elections are over and Macron won, France is feeling eager to provide the $48b carbon credit market with stimuli — once again lobbying their German leaders of support their plan.
Leaders from both countries intend to meet this summer to discuss the issue.
The UK placed a similar floor of $22.88 per ton of CO2 emissions, in order to offset ‘social impacts.’ The net result was glamorous tax receipts for the government and a 30% decline in coal powered electricity production.
“The time is the right one today for an initiative that maybe could be generated in France, with quick support of Germany, obviously after the September elections,” Levy said. “It can be done gradually, and it can be done in such a way that it leads to no massive phasing out of production means in the short term.”
The carbon credit racket reminds me of the taxes placed on cigarettes and other tobacco products. Our government claims they do it to mitigate healthcare expenses absorbed on the state level, in addition to serving as a deterrent for mass consumption by making prices too expensive for people to buy. However, anyone taking a look into the profits enjoyed with this tax, in addition to the amount of money raised via the tobacco settlements and subsequent issuance of tobacco bonds, knows they’re full of shit and simply profit, enormously, by imposing taxes on items that people are addicted to consuming.
Anyone else find it amazing that NVDA is trading near $150? It feels like just yesterday when that stock, and all of the chips, were total pieces of shit getting ripped off by Apple. Something changed over the past few years that most gloss over. There has been a sustainable rally in these stocks, supported by cartel like control over memory chips. In the past, I was always afraid to overstay my welcome in the chips, as they’re subject to all sorts of boom and bust cycles. Everything seemed to change after SNDK was acquired and MU bought Elpida. Those fuckers are operating under monopolies, fixing prices and have a gay old time. I can’t wait for some spartan company to come around and fucking ruin the party for everyone — sending the fuckers in Taiwan into panic mode.
Theresa May looks like the biggest moron in modern British politics today, losing a 20 point lead in the polls effectively placing BREXIT negotiations in extreme danger. She has no mandate. The globalists won, as always. Should we expect anything else?
Futures look solid and the pound is getting raped. You’d think the pound would rally on Theresa May’s humiliation, since it means a weaker BREXIT. A weaker BREXIT, ergo, should be supportive of Sterling. I’ve come to realize, over the years, markets are completely fucked. That’s why I used to do ‘Constanza Trades’, the opposite of what people expect. But even that trade got tired, as everyone doing the opposite sort of defeats the point.
Let’s be honest, it’d be ‘nice’ to get a sharp market correction, even a crash. All of this prosperity is making people decadent, fat, and fucking stupid. No one has to think anymore. You simply slap on a suit and buy NVDA all day and then spend the profits on jewels and overpriced garb, exotic foods. What this country needs is a horrible market calamity, the type of correction that makes people believe in God again. In order to get that, it’s important for the Fed to fuck off. Sadly, they’ll never fuck off, so we’re just gonna have to get used to making gains every day in stocks.
Believe me, there are risks in this market. Look at oil stocks, clownishly down 35% for 2017. Had you bought a basket of oil stocks because the Orange God was going to grab Saudi Arabia by the pussy, you played yourself into the poor house — fucked. This is why I’ve been developing strategies for the market, instead of simply picking stocks. I am trying to upgrade the level of market discourse here, but some of you fuckers are too submentally deranged to change. Listen to me, with time, you’ll see that I’m right — way ahead of the curve — and you’ll be fucked with harrowing losses when NVDA slinks down the other side of the mountain.
There will come a day when the city square will be packed with gibbets filled with swinging heads of traitorous bastard commies — most readily found in leftshit cities. The degeneracy must end. Today’s testimony by Comey was a farce, a transparent attempt by a spent and bitter bureaucrat trying to hurt a sitting President.
Everything about Comey is wrong. The fact that he felt the need to ‘take notes’ because the President asked for loyalty is fucking absurd. What sort of example did he make for fellow G men when he referred to his dealings with his commander in chief as being ‘slightly cowardly’? The whole thing is rot, helping to fuel a bogus investigation spearheaded by a broken democratic party who have lost their fucking mind.
Tucker chimes in and reviews the day’s events, pointing out the hypocrisy of Comey and his dealings with AG Lynch, who asked for Comey to word the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal as a ‘matter.’ If that’s not collusion and political pressure on the FBI, nothing is.
He also touched upon the mercenary media’s fake news about Trump, provided by bad sources, which was confirmed by Comey today.
You can’t reconcile the political blunder that was just realized by Theresa May, judging by the exit polls of today’s elections.
She didn’t have to call for early elections, but chose to do so anyway to reaffirm her mandate for BREXIT. Now her party is heading towards disaster, with as many as 17 seats lost, possibly resulting in a hung parliament.
As such, the pound is taking a beating, off by 0.83%, which is stupid since Corbyn is a BREMAINER and a May loss might lead to her potential resignation just 11 days before BREXIT.
Nigel Farage weighs in, saying May is just ‘no good.’
The big story out of today’s testimony had nothing to do with Trump collusion or obstruction of justice, but the revelation that Comey had, in fact, willingly leaked both privileged and classified information to a friend of his, who is suspected to be Professor Daniel Richman, the details of his communications with the President, to the media, in order to prompt a special counsel.
These retaliatory actions can only be viewed through one prism: he was out to get the President.
During today’s hearings, Comey said he took notes of every single meeting with the President, something he had never done with Bush or Obama, because he had a ‘gut feeling’ he’d need them, afraid that the President would lie. If this doesn’t give insight into the bias Comey harbored against Trump, nothing will.
Back on the topic of leaks, President Trump’s presidency has been beguiled by them since the day he was sworn in. The fact that Comey just admitted to being willing and able to become a source to a low-life degenerate NY Times or Washpo hack brings forth a very important question.
What else has Comey leaked? Moreover, was it legal for him to leak this information to the media, considering the conversations with the President were both privileged and classified?
Rubio pressed Comey on the fact that just about everything had been leaked from the White House, with exception to the fact that he was NOT under investigation — inferring that forces within deep state had withheld leaking info that might be viewed as a positive for the President.
The President’s attorney, Marc Kasowitz, laid into the former FBI director today — highlighting the fact that Comey had leaked to his friends and the media both privileged and classified information to the media. More to that point, Comey had stated that he leaked the info AFTER Trump made a tweet regarding having tapes of their conversation. However, and as Kasowitz points out, the NY Times ran a story, based upon the contents of these leaks, the day before Trump tweeted, which means Comey had lied under oath.

The President also never told Mr. Comey, “I need loyalty, I expect loyalty” in form or substance. Of course, the Office of the President is entitled to expect loyalty from those who are serving in an administration, and, from before this President took office to this day, it is overwhelmingly clear that there have been and continue to be those in government who are actively attempting to undermine this administration with selective and illegal leaks of classified information and privileged communications. Mr. Comey has now admitted that he is one of these leakers.
Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he unilaterally and surreptitiously made unauthorized disclosures to the press of privileged communications with the President. The leaks of this privileged information began no later than March 2017 when friends of Mr. Comey have stated he disclosed to them the conversations he had with the President during their January 27, 2017 dinner and February 14, 2017 White House meeting. Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he leaked to friends his purported memos of these privileged conversations, one of which he testified was classified. He also testified that immediately after he was terminated he authorized his friends to leak the contents of these memos to the press in order to “prompt the appointment of a special counsel.” Although Mr. Comey testified he only leaked the memos in response to a tweet, the public record reveals that the New York Times was quoting from these memos the day before the referenced tweet, which belies Mr. Comey’s excuse for this unauthorized disclosure of privileged information and appears to entirely retaliatory. We will leave it the appropriate authorities to determine whether this leaks should be investigated along with all those others being investigated.
In sum, it is now established that the President was not being investigated for colluding with the Russians or attempting to obstruct that investigation. As the Committee pointed out today, these important facts for the country to know are virtually the only facts that have not leaked during the long course of these events.
