The President’s Attorney Responds: ‘Today Comey Admitted’ to Being a Leaker of ‘Privileged’ and ‘Classified’ Information

The big story out of today’s testimony had nothing to do with Trump collusion or obstruction of justice, but the revelation that Comey had, in fact, willingly leaked both privileged and classified information to a friend of his, who is suspected to be Professor Daniel Richman, the details of his communications with the President, to the media, in order to prompt a special counsel.

These retaliatory actions can only be viewed through one prism: he was out to get the President.

During today’s hearings, Comey said he took notes of every single meeting with the President, something he had never done with Bush or Obama, because he had a ‘gut feeling’ he’d need them, afraid that the President would lie. If this doesn’t give insight into the bias Comey harbored against Trump, nothing will.

Back on the topic of leaks, President Trump’s presidency has been beguiled by them since the day he was sworn in. The fact that Comey just admitted to being willing and able to become a source to a low-life degenerate NY Times or Washpo hack brings forth a very important question.

What else has Comey leaked? Moreover, was it legal for him to leak this information to the media, considering the conversations with the President were both privileged and classified?

Rubio pressed Comey on the fact that just about everything had been leaked from the White House, with exception to the fact that he was NOT under investigation — inferring that forces within deep state had withheld leaking info that might be viewed as a positive for the President.

The President’s attorney, Marc Kasowitz, laid into the former FBI director today — highlighting the fact that Comey had leaked to his friends and the media both privileged and classified information to the media. More to that point, Comey had stated that he leaked the info AFTER Trump made a tweet regarding having tapes of their conversation. However, and as Kasowitz points out, the NY Times ran a story, based upon the contents of these leaks, the day before Trump tweeted, which means Comey had lied under oath.

The President also never told Mr. Comey, “I need loyalty, I expect loyalty” in form or substance. Of course, the Office of the President is entitled to expect loyalty from those who are serving in an administration, and, from before this President took office to this day, it is overwhelmingly clear that there have been and continue to be those in government who are actively attempting to undermine this administration with selective and illegal leaks of classified information and privileged communications. Mr. Comey has now admitted that he is one of these leakers.

Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he unilaterally and surreptitiously made unauthorized disclosures to the press of privileged communications with the President. The leaks of this privileged information began no later than March 2017 when friends of Mr. Comey have stated he disclosed to them the conversations he had with the President during their January 27, 2017 dinner and February 14, 2017 White House meeting. Today, Mr. Comey admitted that he leaked to friends his purported memos of these privileged conversations, one of which he testified was classified. He also testified that immediately after he was terminated he authorized his friends to leak the contents of these memos to the press in order to “prompt the appointment of a special counsel.” Although Mr. Comey testified he only leaked the memos in response to a tweet, the public record reveals that the New York Times was quoting from these memos the day before the referenced tweet, which belies Mr. Comey’s excuse for this unauthorized disclosure of privileged information and appears to entirely retaliatory. We will leave it the appropriate authorities to determine whether this leaks should be investigated along with all those others being investigated.

In sum, it is now established that the President was not being investigated for colluding with the Russians or attempting to obstruct that investigation. As the Committee pointed out today, these important facts for the country to know are virtually the only facts that have not leaked during the long course of these events.

Here is his full statement.

I noticed, in the last few months, mind control
propaganda, in the ZH daily close comments.

Now this. This now confirms a thought-control
operation indeed was. This is psyop.

[over over selling, over need to persuade. empathy befriending, bold/italics, unnecessary cliche, out of context effort, odd official phrasing, immediate timestamp, that something all of a sudden right now after several years is different. shaming, and, guilt, over…plausibility]

[It’s groupthink against a target’s or individual weakness. Art of War. Directly say: don’t short, do not defy us, do not attempt to beat us (see where this is going). Look it’s right in there. They want, the removal, of opposition. Read it. Someone doesn’t want, bears to remain positioned, going forward. And usurping of common-stock-market-truthteller talking points framed as indisputably infinitely impenetrable. Psyop:]

People, can we get real for a moment? Fundamentally there SHOULD be a crash, or correction. But the honest truth is that the game has now changed.

Due to unprecedented amounts of newly created money going directly into the stock market, around $200+ Billion per month, there will be no crash or correction. The game has changed. Now it is all about BAITING bears (shorters) in order to make EASY money off THEM in the form of new all time highs.

It’s the same thing day in day out, week in, week out, month in month out, year in year out. No matter who is President. Let the market drop a few points, then it comes up higher. This has nothing to do with people buying and selling stocks, earnings, or valuations anymore. The Central Banks OWN all of the stocks and acquiring more ever day.

The President’s Working Group on Financial Markets can make the S&P 500 go to 4000 TOMORROW if they wanted to, no questions asked. This is not a real “market”, it’s not true. It’s complete fiction and fabrication. They control all the money and are literally making the stock market go up and down each day to BAIT MORE SHORTERS.

This is all about making a fool of YOU. The realistic, pessimistic trader looking to make big bank on the “next big crash.” It’s time to realize you’re wrong and that this crash is not coming.

I lost some money shorting the last few years, but now I see the writing on the wall. The S&P 500 is going to new ALL TIME HIGHS no matter what. I predict a price target of 3000 by the end of year, and 4500 by Q1 2019. If there is inflationary pressure on the dollar then we can likely expect S&P 500 6000 by Q1 2020.

The time is now to go long, so now I am ALL IN. 3x Leveraged Long S&P 500. I’m up about $47,000 on the year and will be quitting my job soon. If I could use higher leverage I would, because up is literally the only direction for Stocks moving forward.

Do not bet against Janet Yellen, Donald Trump, Gary Cohn, Mario Draghi and Kuroda who ALL want the Stock Market to go up and up. You think you’re better than them? You’re not. They have unlimited bullets.

Get ready for the James Comey nothing burger tomorrow, followed by a YUGE surge in the S&P 500! And while we’re at it, another SURGE on Friday (probably after another terrorist attack which will BAIT more shorters). The insiders always make it so they can enjoy stress free weekends in the Hamptons.

    [What does that “tell” you]

In other words – nothing. Because that was justified leaking. When NSA leaker ‘Reality Winner’ leaks one document to MSM = arrest. When Commie leaks, and admits to everybody he leaked, = no problemo. No consequences. Okie dokie, got it! Law being applied evenly and equally. Good to know.

The info wasn’t privileged or classified, so let’s forget that baseless talking point.

But more importantly, let’s review how we got to this absurd place. There was speculation that Russia had attempted to influence the election and that someone within Trump’s camp was involved. We now indisputably know that Russia did attempt to influence the election in many different ways. We know that some individuals within the Trump campaign are subjects of a counter-intelligence investigation and/or criminal investigation. Whether or not they are indicted is in Mueller’s hands. As of the time Comey was fired, there was no evidence that Trump was guilty of personally colluding with Russians to impact the election. It’s clear that Trump tried to get Comey off Flynn’s ass. Everyone knows what he meant by the word “hope”.. Trump is not stupid enough to say it directly. Was Trump saying it to help his by Flynn or to help himself? Mueller will sort that out. Trump’s denial that he asked Flynn for help is an obvious lie. Trump has also been caught in several other petty lies. Flynn didnt call Trump for lunch. That’s clear. The loyalty demand is very Trump and the motive is also transparent.

But the real question is why does Trump continue to curry Russian favor at his own political peril and continue to deny that Russia interfered with the election when he knows it did? Why can’t he just say.. Russia interfered.. didn’t impact vote tally.. I’ll get to the bottom of this so it doesn’t happen again..if any member of my staff did anything wrong they should be punished… That would have satisfied the vast majority of Americans.. many Dems included. But he didn’t and still doesn’t…why?

Now he has a Special Prosecutor who can investigate anything and will likely find something that won’t end well for Trump.

“But he didn’t and still doesn’t…why?”

Too stupid to grasp that this would be a reasonable thing to do. People like to think that the POTUS is an intelligent person. But in this case, he’s just not. In fact, he’s so stupid that he should be taken out of office by the 25th amendment.

He also has spoiled wealthy brat CEO yes man syndrome. He’s been surrounded by yes men and women all his life, who flatter him & tell him that he’s always right about everything. And if they don’t tell him that his dumbest ideas are great, he fires them. At age 70 and with apparent mental deterioration, it’s not going to dawn on him that the job of POTUS doesn’t work that way.

Any conversation with POTUS done in private is privileged. It is the definition of privileged.

Trump did not invoke executive privilege. Trump himself had spoken and tweeted about the conversation which would void executive privilege. “Unauthorized disclosures” isn’t a thing. Plus, there are many laws on the books to protect whistleblowers.

Here is what I find most amusing in the recent news cycle. Trump trots out his fucking divorce / bankruptcy lawyer to read a statement and not take questions. He can’t get a qualified / specialist law firm equipped to handle this shitshow because “The concerns were ‘The guy won’t pay and he won’t listen'” according to sources.
