Fly Buy: $VUZI

Taking advantage of this epic sort of grandeur, I bought VUZI. The details as to why I bought it are irrelevant — just know that it’s gonna go.

My inverse ETFs are getting the stuffing kicked out of them, especially UVXY. However, those losses are being mitigated by my longs in VERI, UCTT and FIZZ and AAL.

Here’s to hoping VUZI will mitigate some more.

VUZI does not make money and their cash flow from ops is a non-existent negative. Pinning hopes on the rise of this micro cap stock is quite a step in faith. Why not just buy Death Star AMZN? “You don’t know the power of the dark side”.

You need to consider their growing IP.. With a 132 mil market cap, it’s chump change for a larger player. The Blade could be a catalysts headed into CES 2018 as well.

Between all the short and long positions you simultaneously hold–you will typically just end up breaking even if at all. All you did was waste commissions.

Maxim notes MoviePass announced a promotion for new or existing subscribers to pay $89.95 (including S/H) upfront for a one year membership which equates to three months free or $6.95 per month. They estimate MoviePass’ subscriber base is currently 750-800K; they expect this promotion to drive its subscriber base to more than 1 million by the end of 2017, which would be a major milestone in just four months. In addition, each 100,000 subscribers added under this plan would bring in almost $9 million in upfront cash to finance over usage. Historical MoviePass data shows that under the prior $29.99 per month plan, that in month four, members attended just under one movie per month — meaning over usage subsides. By speeding up subscriber acquisition, they believe MoviePass’ influence and positioning in the industry is strengthening. In their view it is only a matter of time before studios and theaters alike begin negotiating partnerships. They reiterate $25 target, which reflects 52% ownership in MoviePass.
