Weak Jobs Reports Jeopardizes “The Fly’s” Balls

I made a promise and a commitment to slice off my testicles should FIZZ not work out as a trade. It’s a very rare thing for me to do and I hope you do appreciate my candor when I say, ‘I am scared.’

This morning the jobs report was dreadful. All of the employers must’ve been killed in Puerto Rico last month, for a reduction of 33,000 jobs was registered, instead of the anticipated +90,000. Whenever jobs start to disappear, a recession isn’t too far behind. Subsequently, stocks are selling off and along with it is my FIZZ.

If I can paint on a larger canvas for the moment and move away from my balls, I think it’s notable that I am making a great deal of money elsewhere. For example, YELP, EDIT and COHR are all higher by ~5% this week, with WDAY just behind it. It’s only my DDD and FIZZ that are ruining an otherwise warm reception for yours truly, back into the game of degenerate trading.

On the quant side, many of the stocks in that market cap quintile underperformed. Money shifted. Nonetheless, the average return was something akin to 0.7%, with a median return about flat.

Sentiment is extremely high and men in wheeled chairs are very boastful on Twitter, claiming to be market geniuses for buying towards the last 30 minutes of trades. This is complete nonsense, as you all know. We could only hope that this individual(s) to be promptly kicked down a steep flight of stairs, his wheeled chair mangled, and left for the vultures to pick away at.
