Listen to “The Fly”: Don’t ‘Old Man Scott’ Yourselves

One of my favorite pastimes is reading old newspapers. The easiest ways to do this is via the NY Times archives, sting back to 1851, part of a monthly subscription plan (yes, I subscribe to the FAILING NY Times). I came across this article tonight and wanted to share it with you. I am fairly certain I am the first to cover the tragic ending of Wallace Scott, known as ‘Old Man Scott’ on Wall Street, in well over 100 years. But the lessons are as fresh and relevant today as they were in 1909 when he passed.

The author of the above column didn’t discuss how Mr. Scott made it on Wall Street, only how he fell into ruin. The circumstances of Scott’s failure weren’t all that notable. How many of you are familiar with the great panic of 1904?

People are often remembered by how they finished, not how they started — just like movies. It’s an odd juxtaposition, considering that most people are sentimental and often reminisce over the good times of yesteryear — yet are so quick to cement the character and lives of others by how they finished.

No one cares about your plight. Your rise to fortune are meaningless footnotes in time. As I write this, I know many of you trollops are taking outsized risks in the market and the reason for that is because you’re trying to get rich. If and when you fail, you’ll simply chalk it up to needing to risk money to make money. You’ll lie to your wives and loved one’s about the true nature of your failure, having “Old Man Scotted” yourselves into the poorhouse. But you know the true culprit, utter and extreme stupidity — a sordid blend of ignorance that makes people willfully ruin themselves at the altar of greed.

Let me be your conscience and a stark reminder that today’s success can easily morph into tomorrow’s failure.

Having said that, “The Fly” doesn’t intend to ever fail again, having done so once after the dot bomb era and have gone straight up ever since. I’m the MNCS.ob (old schoolers know) of this trading game, fully evolved at the highest levels — tier one gravity hammer wielding alpha-predator, defecating on subpar knuckle-dragging spit catchers for sport. Starting tomorrow, I’ll be tossing grenades at the market again, lacing fuckers up and knocking them out cold just to prove a point.

(NOTE: If I didn’t remind you, 99% of you would only remember this article by the vitriolic rant during the last paragraph, instead of the narrative woven in every paragraph that was laid before it. Point proven, QED).

GOLD IS BREAKING LEGS TO THE UPSIDE

Now that cryptocurrencies have been destroyed and deemed illegal in all of China, gold is in play here. Commiserate with my new appetite for wanton risk, I might take a position in a miner tomorrow.

Here is the 7 day chart of gold, presently higher by 0.86%. Currently, 5% of my assets is in GLD.

I’m thinking IAG or one of the laggards, like EGO, NSU or AUY. Either way, we must benefit off the death of all of those GIGANTIC FAGGOTS getting murdered in the bitfag holes.

More on this tomorrow, without question. I’m still leaning towards buying FIZZ, and maybe paired well with a GS short — because fuck Goldman.

Dr. Pieczenik Turns on Trump, Implies He’ll Be Removed from Office

I will not attempt to guess what Dr. Pie’s end game is here. All I can say, after watching him for more than a year, is that he revealed a shit-tonne of state secrets and not one media outlet covers him. It’s like he’s an underground deep-stater making press releases and people ignore him like he’s Alex Jones. Actually, to be fair, Alex Jones gets far more coverage than this guy, who personally took responsibility for leaking Hillary Clinton’s emails to Wikileaks, toppling the Soviet Union, claiming both 9/11 and Sandy Hook were false flags, and ‘putting Trump into office.’

But the worm has turned and it started a few weeks ago, after Trump approved a surge in Afghanistan.

In an interview with Infowars’ David Knight, Dr. Pie implied Trump would be removed and Pence would not take his place — which, ironically, is exactly what nut jobs like Louise Mensch have been saying for months.

Here’s most of the interview.

I cannot begin to analyze what is taking place here, whether Dr. Pie is as important as he claims to be or not. However, I will say that the people who voted for Trump weren’t traditional GOPers, many of whom are beholden to the neocon strategy for war. His base are fervently anti-war and the escalation of the military industrial complex stands to lay waste to his most loyal supporters.

How Do You Feel About Summer Ending?

I was on my backyard deck a short while ago, peering into my expansive yard that I always place effort into each and every spring. It dawned on me that I hadn’t spent more than 10 minutes out there the entire summer, always busy with one thing or another. When I first bought the house, I was so excited to have the space. I even set up a badminton and cricket courts — in an effort to provide the kids with some outdoor activities at home. Since then, a gigantic trampoline has taken over, sparsely, if ever, used — which also serves to block out the hedges of trees I had planted 4 years ago. The cricket court was eaten up by illegal Mexicans riding fast atop lawnmowers — subjecting the remainder of the materials to collect dust in my garage.

I bought a picnic table this spring, something I was keen on buying and using. After purchasing it, I stained it to my liking and placed it under a gigantic maple tree in the yard, a tree that I intend to extract maple syrup from next spring. I toiled over the damned thing, made sure that it was covered and protected from the elements, tucked away neatly in a shaded spot rarely visited by the insects that sashay back there. I’ll have you know, I haven’t used the darn table the entire summer.

Needless to say, things don’t always work out as planned.

For those of you domiciled down south or at west, I imagine the end of summer has less of a finale feeling, since your weather will remain accommodative throughout the year. For us northerners, the beginning of fall is the nascency of decay. The turning of the leaves is represented by beauty, but it’s also a warning.

I’ve always viewed the end of summer, popularly celebrated on Labor Day (today), as a call to arms, a time of year when the real work is to begin — casting aside the superfluities of summer. In a sense, it has always meant promise to me too, since I was gearing up to greatly increase my income by ‘going to work’, steadfastly laboring during the harsh cold months of winter in the hopes it would yield a great harvest by summer.

Not to get too philosophical on a blog strewn with F-bombs and Trump memes, but life is about expectations and how we adjust to them, isn’t it?

At any rate, I hope you enjoy the balance of your day and cheers to a good summer and hopefully an even better fall and winter.

Nikki Haley: Peace Loving America Tormented by N. Korea ‘Begging for War’

Let’s examine that thesis, shall we?

I grew up, educated by the Public School system in Brooklyn, taught to believe America was the beacon of truth, the good guys out to ensure that peace persisted throughout the world. But is that the truth, or propaganda?

This is indeed a hard pill to swallow for those of you still caught up in the fairy tale.

First, let’s look at Nikki Haley’s comments to the UN today, where she said N. Korea was in fact ‘begging for war.’

Here are the stats.

CHINA BANS ICOs; CRYPTOFAGS ON SUICIDE WATCH

I covered this topic back in June and warned you this could happen. Plain and simple: the ICO market is a flat out scam. Our pussified regulators at the SEC are too busy going after penny stock operators and stock brokers trading options off insider tips than to go after this industry that is brazenly befitted by outright fraud, yet supported by the powerful VC community and the con artists who profit from it.

China doesn’t have any allegiances to the VCs; ergo, off with their heads.

Caixin is reporting that ICOs are an ‘unauthorized fundraising tool’, a scam that has been banned by the country’s internet finance committee.

Source: CNBC

Seven government administrations including the People’s Bank of China, China Securities Regulatory Commission, China Banking Regulatory Commission and China Insurance Regulatory Commission issued a joint statement where they reiterated that ICOs are unauthorized illegal fund raising activity.

The statement said authorities are banning all organizations and individuals from raising funds through ICO activities and that all banks and financial institutions should not do any business related to ICO trading.

Organizations and individuals that have completed fundraising through ICOs should make relevant arrangement to return funds, in order to protect the interests of investors and properly deal with risks.

The statement added that enhanced management is needed on digital coin fundraising platforms.

The subsequent result of this news is a woefully fucked up market for Ethereum, since that’s what this entire ‘blockchain’ horseshit is based on — down 13% over the past 24hrs.

Here are the largest cryptocurrencies, all of which are diving.

H Shares, a meaningless ICO with big plans for China and Hong Kong is down more than 55%, yet still possesses a market cap upwards of $300m. I suppose the Chinese people who purchased H Shares in the hopes of conducting a little money laundering are having second thoughts — NOW THAT IT’S FUCKING BANNED.

See you at zero.

“The Fly” Is Going on a ‘Hunting Expedition’ and You’re All Invited

I just got out of the shower, after languishing on the couch for a few hours, watching my eldest play a video game. He’s actually playing Romance of the Three Kingdoms, part IX — a game I used to play 15 years ago. I never got into the shooter games, aside from a brief period whence I took to the Halo game with my gravity hammer. As a young boy and man child in my 20s, I preferred strategy games. That’s how my mind works.

Speaking of which, I’ve decided to start investing with my balls again — setting up a small personal fund to partake in grand exhibitions like we used to do around these parts. Truth be told, every since I quit managing money, emotionally, I haven’t been obsessed with stocks like I used to. Many of you shitheads out there know it and have called me out on it. After 20 years in the business of killing myself trading stocks, losing my hair and my fucking sanity, I needed a respite.

I’ll still do the Exodus inspired automated portfolio management on a weekly basis. Quit frankly, that’s the future of our business and you know it. Alas, I need to have a little fun in this market place, with spirit. Fall is coming and Trump is a god damned animal driving a train, heading for a brick wall filled with plutonium. I want to partake in the volatility on a level that will satisfy my savage desires.

How would this new approach look?

I’m thinking along the lines of swing trading, maybe some day trades, based off news and good olde intuition. I cannot recreate the magic we once had here again — but I can certainly provide enough testosterone infused lambasting that will create new memories of when we were middled aged and stupid and made fun of CEOs and then shorted their stocks. Perhaps we will make fun of Bill Ackman again and go long his shorts, or even write open letters to some fucktard executive who dares to get in our way of greatness.

All are invited to this new chapter, even my friends in ANTIFA.

What I expect from you are ideas. Give me your best stories. I will look into them and maybe act upon the advice provided to me by the shadows in my urinal (inside joke for old schoolers).

For starters, I am thinking about buying FIZZ. Why? Well, I hate FIZZ because I missed out on the whole La Croix nonsense and it makes me mad every time I see their cans littering my stores. Therefore, the correct play here would be to go Constanza, the exact opposite of what I want to do, and then chide Coca Cola and Pepsi into acquiring the company — calling out their shit-cans filled with junk and how FIZZ is superior to them on every level imaginable. To be sincere with you here, both KO and PEP dropped the ball BIG TIME by not buying MNST years ago. If they miss out on FIZZ, their C-level executives should all be executed in the public square.

Goodnite.

Thank God the Summer Is Ending: Back to Work

I spent the weekend entertaining my sister and nephew, sauntering about town, partaking in gross levels of hedonism — eating and drinking, quite superficially, and laughing in a very capricious manner. So you know, “The Fly” doesn’t like to laugh — he merely chuckles, vaguely, and only when it’s suitable to put down his smoking pipe.

Dinner was served in Brooklyn, NY tonight, in a locale reminiscent of the bar featured in Goodfellas, festooned with relics of yesterday, older Italian men drinking espresso with coffee beans in it, lemon peels, and ample amounts of Sambucca. Having been raised in an Italian household, mainly by my grandfather, this was a very familiar scene for me — harkening to a day when men would open Johnny pumps in the street so that kids could cool off in the summer heat.

My nephew, ironically, noticed the lack of gender neutral bathrooms at this establishment, suggesting that perhaps it was a ‘regressive’ place filled with ‘white supremacists.’

Labor Day is upon us and it has been a long summer of nothingness, shit talking, and gratuitous comedy by fucktards in the comments section. Need I remind you little shits, you’re not the counter-culture, but whores of Babylon, mind-controlled cogs in the wheel of evil that will be cracked asunder, under the weight of freedom?

Yes, indeud — your day of reckoning is coming and when it does, I will be presiding over your dead body, dousing your corpse with gasoline — tossing matches at your recalcitrant face.

Trump Threatens to Stop ‘All Trade’ With Countries ‘Doing Business with North Korea’

Following up with N. Korea’s alleged hydrogen bomb test, President Trump tweeted he was conferring with General Mattis and contemplating ‘stopping all trade’ with countries doing business with N. Korea.

According to recent statistics by the OEC, N. Korea’s main export is coal. Their top trading partners are China ($2.34b) and India ($93m).

Their top import partners are China ($2.95b), India ($108m), Russia ($78m) Thailand ($73m) and Philippines ($53m).

Clearly, this is Trump menacing China again. Thus far, he’s been unsuccessful in addressing China’s rapery of the United States in trade, so he’s moving the issue over to national security. Last year, the United States recorded $462b in imports with China and only $115b in exports, producing a trade deficit of $347b. Naturally, much of the deficit were the result of US companies producing goods cheaply overseas and then importing them back into the US, a la Apple.

In the past, a statement like this from the President of the United States would have a profound effect on markets. However, with Trump, this will likely fall under the category ‘the boy who cried wolf’, sending markets to new record highs.
