Hurricane Irma is a ‘Deacon of Death’ and Has Been Upgraded to Cat 5 Status

It’s official, yet another reason to never move to Florida. This mother llama is now a Cat 5 hurricane and is hummin’ straight for Miami.

Via Zerohedge:

“We’re looking at Irma as a very significant event,” Ronald Jackson, executive director of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency, said by phone. “I can’t recall a tropical cone developing that rapidly into a major hurricane prior to arriving in the central Caribbean.”

U.S. residents were urged to monitor the storm’s progress in case it should turn northward toward Florida, Georgia or the Carolinas. “This hurricane has the potential to be a major event for the East Coast. It also has the potential to significantly strain FEMA and other governmental resources occurring so quickly on the heels of (Hurricane) Harvey,” Evan Myers, chief operating officer of AccuWeather, said in a statement.

In the Caribbean, the director of Puerto Rico’s power company predicted that storm damage could leave some areas of the U.S. territory without electricity for four to six months. But “some areas will have power (back) in less than a week,” Ricardo Ramos told radio station Notiuno 630 AM.
Surface winds are being recorded at 185mph. Should this motherfucker land with those sort of winds, it will be a killer storm, something you’ll want to avoid. You can keep track of this storm via Wunderground, which is unfortunately filled with wishcasters and wanna be meteorologists jerking off to the vortex of the storm. Nevertheless, it is informative.

WTI is higher by 2.8% this morning, outpacing Brent by 1%, which tells me the refineries in Texas are going to reopen soon.

You’re a duck bennyshill. What does a fucking hurricane during hurricane season have to do with climate change? My guess is that Mother Earth has had millions of hurricanes during her billions of year life.

No better state to live than Florida. Earn what people would love to make up north and I keep more of my hard earned money.

Good for the beauty parlor business. You know, all those old ladies in Florida get their hair done once a week. Buy $HAIR?

Going out on a limb here, but I don’t think this is going to hit Florida. It so far has not turned north – looks like it is going to the Gulf, maybe the Yucatan. Have a look at what I see:
