When I was younger, I used to methodically target people who shorted stocks that were heavily shorted. The theory was, during periods of excess, heavily shorted stocks would become ‘barn burners’, trapping shorts inside a house that was aflame. My purpose was merely to squirt gasoline at the house, roasting marshmallows and eating snacks, taking in the fumes of burning flesh with delight (no serial killer).
With Hurricanes menacing America, sweeping away whole cities, now is the perfect time to apply the figure four leg lock to shorts and target their favorite stocks.
Here are a few names, courtesy of Exodus, that might become enclosed burning coffins for bears soon.
RES, CRC, CAR, CZR, MTCH, GOGO, P, MNDK, NK, BLUE, IMMU, REGI, WLL
There are many ways to win with the above stocks. However, no win will be sweeter than the one presiding over the grave of a bear. They’re like nazis, but worse. They literally want to see markets go down and old people die of thirst. If you see a bear, punch a bear. If you know of a stock that is heavily shorted, buy it and make the shorts lose all of their money, property and family. After their wives divorce them and their kids come to learn how evil their Dad’s were, you can then throw gigantic parties celebrating your success.

Nice little movie there.
Bears are the only thing that save retail investors from bubbles. Unfortunately, most retial investors are short sighted and vilify Bears. They don’t see the danger until after the market has crashed due to predictable “Black Swans” and then Wall Street breaks out the “who coulda know.”
Fly, I’m surprised that.you take this view of bears based on the path you took to get to where you are today.
In other news, Google’s has stepped in a big pile of Schmidt (re: “Open Market”).

I am kidding. Sarcasm doesn’t translate well in blogs.
Ok, I’ll take your word for it, but still don’t see it on the second read.
I think where the sarcasm effect is lost is right when you started with a personal story (regardless of whether said story is fictional or not), which made it so that the reader can more relate to someone who doesn’t like bears.
Examples:
1) Donald Trump is a genius. (sarcasm?)
2) Donald Trump is a genius. I read all his books and they helped my career. (no sarcasm)
2) Donald Trump is a genius. Just look at the way he gave a public interview telling people he fired Comey because of Russia. (obvious sarcasm)
Note: duck-billed aliens are retardingly anal
On a second reading you couldn’t figure out it was Sarcasm? I have been reading this blog for years and this is the first time I have ever posted, because I am astonished you couldn’t figure out it was sarcasm based on the title alone, or the author’s general writing style for years…
When The Fly mentions coffins I always think of the pineapple shaped variety.
