I know this might come as a surprise to some of you, but I’m not a fan of any monuments. As a matter of fact, I generally despise government propaganda who actively turns mediocre to bad men into Saints. I do not buy into the notion that ‘it was a different time’ back then and we should give our forefathers a pass for being vile scum.
Look, you don’t need to be enlightened to understand that having a slave is wrong. There were plenty of good men back then who were against slavery, including John Adams. I don’t know about you, but I hate all the hatred. “The Fly” just wants to live in peace, gently tossing old men down sewer drains, having a grand old time getting inebriated off fine liquor.
Let me make a point.
Jesse Owens won 4 olympic medals during the 1936 games in Munich. He was not invited to the White House by FDR because he was black. Moreover, FDR did not support anti-lynching legislation, proposed by the GOP, because he didn’t want to lose his southern constituency.
Worse of all, FDR interned 120,000 Japanese Americans and held them prisoners for a period of three years — based solely on their nationality. People who had as little as 1/16th Japanese ancestry were detained for reasons none other than vicious racism. And you mean to tell me that I should revere this man, FDR, a person who I have nothing in common with and do not wish to have any influence over my children?
It’s easy to look up to people, because we all want to believe the lie. It’s nice to think there are others out there better than us, making society better, doing great things for the sake of humanity. But at the very nexus of humanity is empathy and kindness.
Was FDR a kind man? Absolutely not.
With regards to confederate statues: We should stop permitting this to be a movement led by antagonistic leftists. Instead, it should be an intellectual debate to be decided on in the ballot boxes. There are no good reasons to have statues of confederate generals inside American cities.
But we shouldn’t stop there. How bout Abe Lincoln?
He was an ardent racist, caused the deaths of over 600,000+ Americans and laid waste to the south, burned their cities and economy to the ground. History books tell us he did it to free the slaves, but that isn’t the whole truth. It was an economic war. And on the topic of slavery, what would you call fresh off the boat Irish immigrants being forced to fight for the north in a war that was likely to see them dead inside a few short months? Do you mean to tell me that isn’t a type of slavery?
Dr. Steve Pieczenik discusses Lincoln, calling him ‘mentally ill’ — the Pol Pot of the south, a truly disgraceful and reprehensible American leader who wanted to ship black people to Liberia.

Can’t we all just get along?
Why is it that they Japanese don’t go around crying about being in internment camps but the American Africans won’t shut their faces.
Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson. By far the worst Presidents in US history.
Britain solved their slavery problem by simply compensating the slave owners of their empire, around 20 million Sterling nominal. Lincoln, or others before him, could have done the same. The US purchased the Louisiana Territories from France, the California territories from Mexico and the Alaskan territories from Russia. Could have simply purchased the freedom of the slaves too, and avoided the Civil War.
The worst president discussion starts and ends with your Cheeto Jesus. This not up for debate and to think it only took seven months to claim the title.
Cheeto Jesus has done nothing but trigger you from day 1. Maybe you should just smoke some opium and chill for a bit.
Because Po Pimp said so.
I’ll buy that.
It is ignorant dumbass statements like that. You people are the problem. Always have been.
You forgot Obama.
REPARATIONS NOW, for white Southerners slaughtered by northern insanity and aggression.
In all fairness, I think the secession was a legitimate political act by the South, they wanted to go a different direction and it is a shame that slavery clouded the issue. Lincoln was more racist than Lee.
If the South’s act of creating it’s own country was not legitimate political act then how is Texas’ revolt from Mexico or America’s revolt from England? The South was in fact try to move back towards the original idea of the revolution from England which was memorialized in the Articles of Confederation.
Texas and America won their wars. The Confederacy got its ass kicked.
Any more dumb questions?
Yes, might makes right! That is why Lincoln is viewed as a tyrant as well as a racists. same with Santa Anna and King George III.
The Texas victory was a stroke of luck that Santa Anna was basically the Mexican Custer and ran off through the marshland without his cavalry…San Jacinto would have been very different if it had been otherwise.
And to note…the Confederacy whipped ass on the Northern aggressors considering how out financed and under supplied they were. A loss is a loss, but they paid dearly for the victory and really only succeeded in sewing deep seeds of resentment.
Texas was no stroke of luck. It was the most badass and ornery assemblage of human beings since Sparta!
We should remove the Lincoln Memorial because it is offensive to whites of southern heritage and we should pay reparation to them as well for their suffering and their loss of property.
Not only that, everyone here should give me their $5 bills and pennies and I will destroy them. I promise. On second thought, keep your pennies.
Personally, I don’t like Texas. I’d like to see those racist fucks removed.
Oh, That’s right, you’re not from Texas:https://youtu.be/KQoXnz3h_FE?t=1m14s
Yes it was a legitimate political act to secede. Lincoln essentially trashed the Constitution and invaded.
Exactly right. Welcome to the slippery slope, MF’ers!
slavery is alive and well today. It’s called NCAA College Football. The cotton field has simply been replaced with a football field.
…and debt slavery, let’s not forget debt slavery imposed on humanity by the usual synagogue suspects.
Kids are forced to play football now? Wow, learn something new everyday.
Nope. They go to summer camps:

the economics of it. It’s a multi billion dollar industry in which an old white man who gets paid 7 figures gets to yell and boss around young black kids, who get paid basically in “store credit” and a place to sleep on the property. They’re not “forced” per se, but it’s the only avenue with “hope” in that a minuscule % of them get to go to the NFL and make money.
If we are going to waste digital ink on discussing some insignificant 600,000 deaths of americans by an ardent racist, or some imprisonment of negligible 120,000 japs, let’s also talk about something more significant, like deaths of 60,000,000+ of native russians and white european christians in the hands of the filthy, scummy and disgusting bolshevik Jews:

p.s. and let’s have a good laugh about the hoax the holocaust is….a nothingburger.
Do you have your ticket booked for this weekend’s Klan, Nazi, White Supremacist rally?
Wow, you’ve always been the resident wack-a-doodle around these parts Sacrilege, but lately you really seem to be showing your true colors.
Get the fuck outta our country with your Nazi bullshit.
We need construction of a Christian Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., to be erected next door to the existing taxpayer-funded Jewish Holocaust Museum:

Hey, David Duke, your act is getting stale.
David Duke got is PhD from Ukraine. Let that set in.
FREE TIBET, FREE THE SOUTH!!!! Self determination for all peoples except snowflake liberals!
The unfortunate truth is that empathetic and kind people have no wish to rule us. There are studies which suggest exerting power actually damages a human brain’s ability to be empathetic:

I personally think the burden of leadership involves being a monster so the people you lead and protect are able to live their life without the burden of every having to be one.
“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf”
I am sure the 60MM+ russians and Christians that were tortured and killed by the vile, disgusting, filthy and repulsive ruling Jew bolsheviks slept “peaceably” [sic] in their beds….until they realized that the monsters who promised them protection and a trip to workers’ socialist paradise where they would live in peace and prosperity were going to lead them to gulag and death. Well done.
We aren’t all communists you know, eventually the “muh communist jews” gets old too. It’s easy to keep bringing up that example, but I could simply say “well look at Pinochet” – I am not speaking specific examples, I am talking about societal organization. Unless you believe in volunteerism or anarchy (a nice idea, until you consider the caliber of people who you have to work with) there will always be a requirement for a social hierarchy and leaders at the top of said hierarchy. You can complain about it all you want but it is the social contract (ever evolving) that has enabled humanity to progress to this point.
Therefore I would conclude your statement is the equivalent of a whimper or a whine – utterly meaningless. The context of the discussion requires productive participation in one of several forms:
1) put forth a set of controls that would better our current system of social organization
2) set out a different set of criteria for leadership characteristics within our social structure
3) propose an alternative social structure with different constraints or methods of organization
It is quite simple, mathematically, to prove that single decision maker systems always arrive at equivalent or better solutions that any other system (in a game-theory context), which lends itself very strongly to either monarch or individualism (volunteerism). If you have thoughts to contribute it would be interesting to see them.
Lets not forget what the whites did to the Native Americans. Racialist AF. If you support the USA you are racist.
This is true, The whole of America is a monument to white supremacy and the oppressions of coloured people. Let’s turn it all back over to the natives and sell the whites into muslim or Hindu slavery. Canada and Australia too.
Yeah, but the Native American Council Offered Amnesty to the 220 Million “Undocumented Whites” Living in the U.S….so all is good now. No hard feelings.

You’re not getting off that easy you filthy undocumented white, you illegal alien. HA!
If you wanted to keep your land your ancestors should have fought harder during the war. Be grateful the victors were so monogamous, were it the Romans who conquered you there would be none of you left.
what would life be like if Lincoln had shipped them all to Liberia?
regarding not-so honest Abe —
“Lincoln proclaimed on August 22nd, 1862, that his highest goal was the preservation of the Union, that is, the amalgamation of the American states, because a deep rift had emerged in the Union between the traditional South and the modern North, and so the whole thing had been crumbling away for years. He further declared that if he could save the Union without having to free a single slave, then he would do it. This remark was in exact opposition to that for which he was elected president, namely because he proclaimed the abolition of slavery in the USA. In contradiction, during the election campaign in 1860, he already promised that he would not abolish slavery, but it should no longer be allowed in the newly-formed states. Therefore, the southern states rejected Lincoln as president. Therefore, presidential contradiction, and once again contradiction; consequently seven states seceded from the Union and formed the Confederacy, which was the prelude to the American Civil War, which lasted from 1861 to 1865. The South was fighting for its traditional social system, while no reason for war was at hand for the North to wage a war against the South. Consequently, Abraham Lincoln thought of a way to deliver a reason for war. He subsequently announced, on January 1st, 1863, the so-called Emancipation Proclamation, according to which, all slaves were now immediately free. But this was nothing more than an evil trick in order to start a struggle, for the abolition of slavery, out of a political war. Thus a double weakening of the Confederacy was brought about because immediately more than three million southern state slaves became allies of the North, with many of them joining the fight against the southern states, whereby, naturally, many also lost their lives.”
The precedent for the right of succession was established in the Compromise of 1850 where the Union would have broken up otherwise – legally. Lincoln was determined to put the south down and the Southerners knew this.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compromise_of_1850
There were 4 Presidential candidates in 1860. All four won electoral votes. Lincoln carried the entire North and Breckenridge carried the entire South. There was clearly a huge political divide.
Here is information that I have been told by Mississippians: even though the South was sparsely populated compared to the north, and therefore much less represented in the electoral college, 7 of the 10 wealthiest people in the world lived on the Natchez Trace along the Mississippi River. Mississippi borrowed 7 million dollars nominal from the Great Britain during the war that was never paid back.
But what a lot of people don’t understand is that the 1863 Emancipation Proclamation only freed the slaves of the Confederacy, not the entire United States. And the 13th Amendment was signed into law by a Southerner, President Andrew Johnson.
As a man of 75% Italian ancestry….the largest mass lynching in US History was of 11 Italians in New Orleans circa the turn of the century. Although not POTUS at the time, Teddy Roosevelt is on record proclaiming the lynchings to be “a rather good thing”. He further said that “Italians were a little worse than being Negro”. My point being, round and round we can go. People need to get over the past and make good decisions in the future. We’re all barbaric, carnivorous, blood thirsty creatures at heart. However, I’d like to give us the benefit of the doubt, and say we’ve come a long way in the last 160yrs since slavery, but we probably haven’t. There’s no place in this world for racism, and we should all be judged by and held accountable for our own actions.
The National mind-set on Italians at the time was based upon what was happening in Italy at the turn of the century that was the precursor to the leftist takeover by Mussolini.
This was evidenced by immigrants such as Luigi Galleani, who Wikipedia describes was:
“an Italian anarchist active in the United States from 1901 to 1919, viewed by historians as an insurrectionary anarchist. He is best known for his enthusiastic advocacy of “propaganda of the deed”, i.e. the use of violence to eliminate tyrants and oppressors and to act as a catalyst to the overthrow of existing government institutions. From 1914 to 1932, Galleani’s followers in the United States (known as Galleanisti), carried out a series of bombings and assassination attempts against institutions and persons they viewed as class enemies. After Galleani was deported from the United States to Italy in June 1919, his colleagues are alleged to have carried out the Wall Street bombing of 1920, which resulted in the deaths of 38 people.”
Galleani was also the editor of a newspaper that was shut down under Wilson’s sedition act.
