Your disgraceful lack of awareness, regarding health and fitness, is appalling. Instead of going to the gym, eating salads, and taking daily supplements, you devour burgers, play video games, and drink Red Bulls to garner enough energy to go to work.
Your indecorous lifestyle is causing the Vitaminfags great disdain. Look at what you’ve done to the chart prices of both GNC and VSI: CATACLYSM.
This loss in value has caused GNC to cease focusing on their in house, retarded, brands and bring in some third party innovation — like VSI. But even with the changes, both companies are relying on new store opening and discounts to drive organic sales. Having said that, are we peak hamburger, trough vitamin?
Sales at Vitamin shoppe haven’t collapsed in line with the 70% drawdown in the share price, but earnings have. It’s an interesting trade down here — especially when taking a look at the valuation of GNC at .20x sales, essentially pricing in bankruptcy.
Yes, that’s correct. Just a few years ago, GNC was being valued at 5x of what it is today, on a price to sales ratio basis.
Americans, answer the fucking question. Will you stop living the life of an overweight pig and head into the gym to get back in shape? Remember, abs are made in he kitchen, not the gym, so you’ll have to cut back on those hammed burgers too — replacing it with a nice chalky glass of whey protein.
What do you say?

Vitamin is injected into processed toxic food. Eating vitamin with poison does not make it OK to injest poison. While elite eat organic from wholefoods. Most can not afford real food just chemicals laced with vitamines.
By the way remember don’t fight the fed. Dudley turned bear. Watch the fuck out.

Another victim of the beast Amazon? It has infiltrated every aspect of our lives.
yup – people get this shit from AMZN and COST
Yup. That’s where I get my protein powder.
I am quite sure that Americans are buying crap tons of vitamins on Amazon.
There’s no problem with interest in the What, it’s the Where that’s taking a beating.
When times get tough, people first forgo the things that don’t satisfy an immediate need. If you miss taking your vitamins for a few days, you don’t feel it right away so it’s probably one of the first things to go when money’s tight. Also,GNC is expensive and the sales reps are annoying as they are never happy selling you only what you come in for. They always try to up sell me a bunch of shit I don’t want.
those burgers look delicious
I say that’s a perfect picture – two burgers. One for each hand! 🙂
What about the whey? Doesn’t that look delicious too?
The whey looks like a good substitute for mortar if you’re building a brick wall. 🙂
Those are not burgers made out of real beef – it’s reconstituted meat also called a meat slurry, pink slime or emulsified meat. Bone appetite.
Not really a vitamin, but has anyone experienced the coconut aminos? (soy sauce alternative) Just spotted at Trader Joe’s last week, and I’m intrigued…
Coconut oil now believed to be worse than eating hamburgers, according to 97% of scientists.
I’ve seen the headline, but need to look into that claim. First thought was “are these Obama’s ‘scientists’?”
60% of the time, it works every time.
Worse in how exactly? Eating buns coated with coconut oil and a side of fries? Can we include a super expensive “”protein supplement shake in the mix please scientists?
Trap a pathetic runt Libtard today. Buy them an All American Burger. After passing out from the sudden strike of red blood the Libtard will rise a new. Gain confidence and move to Somalia. Someone bought out NUTR. Missed it. Possibly the stores are the problem.
The demand is still there and I’ll tell you where it is going in one word.
Unfortunately it is not actionable in terms of investment, but holeeee SHIT is this company kicking ass.
Plexus
Excellent marketing plan and products that work + unbelievable comp for their sales team = massive YoY increases.
2 of my kids are involved with this and their monthly checks put both of them over the 6 figure hump. Ah….Yah…both of them earned a free Lexus within the past year too.
As to the product working, the proof is in the results. I personally know two guys, diabetics, that have cut their insulin dose by 60% after starting this program.
If that company ever goes public you can kiss GNC and all the rest of their ilk good bye.
Contact me if you want to get on it. Seriously.
Vitamin supplements = an expensive way to make your pee yellow and smelly.
I get my multivitamin at COST. Protein online. Why anyone would go into a GNC anymore is beyond me as its more expensive. It actually surprising that VSI sales have stayed up.
What protein supplement do you use, Fly?
I bet you partake of Vitamins T, H, and C
Does Brazil do the supplement trip. Moving for some reason today. Route 66 trade is hot as well. Cheap gas for Summer so far. Boats trailers etc and poison nachos at the pump stores.
I actually disagree that American’s lifestyles are killing these stores. The supplement segment is growing at a rapid pace. But how people are buying them.. has drastically changed.
Amazon… huge retailer and about to get a lot bigger!
Who goes to GNC or Vitamashoppe when you can order the same stuff cheaper, 2 day free delivery.. for less at Amazon.
Shoppers are just buying their supps elsewhere and it’s headed towards Amazon. I won’t be shocked to see Amazon start making their own private label stuff and selling it as one of the Amazon Basics you see when you shop for various electronic things.
Miracle 2000. You can buy it on Amazon. Invented by a born again biochemist who just wants people to be healthy.
I love it when a company or industry gets inflated by like 5% five years ago by a baseless speculative bubble and then today they get treated like they lost 5% of their value. I hate it when they whine about it.
Scarcity mindset. Whey shakes and the burgers for me! How else do you expect to pack on the slabs of muscle?
Are GNC’s still in malls?
GNC is a zero. truenutrition.com
