Here’s what I think is going on here. McMaster is the problem. From all the reports I’ve read, he’s trying to strong arm the President into a neocon strategy of war. After all, Bill “fucking” Kristol was elated to find out that McMaster had been selected to become national security director when it happened.
McMaster leaked the intel and then did a presser saying nothing happened, in order to make himself indispensable, since he was rumored to be on the chopping block. Trump fed up with the leaks, came out and said what happened, reminding people that it was his right to share the intel and declassify it.
So what are we talking about here? Why is this considered sensitive intel?
ISIS is scheming about ways to blow up airplanes using laptops. Who in their right mind is interested in keeping that intel secret? I’d like to hear the argument to protect the diabolical strategies of ISIS secret. If we are going to kill ISIS in Syria, which is the whole point of working with Russia, sharing intel that could save civilian lives is hardly ‘top secret’ intel that ‘is keeping us alive’, like some of the Morning Shills are spewing this morning.

The real issue, once again, is the leaks. This bodes extremely poorly for anything getting done in this administration.
