Rep. Nunes: I Had An ‘Obligation’ to Tell the President What They Were Saying About Him

It’s fucking happening. On Hannity tonight, Rep. Devin Nunes said the intelligence briefings that discussed Trump and his team were spread far and wide amongst all of the intelligence agencies, something that might’ve been made possible because of Obama’s last minute rule change that permitted sharing of intelligence between all of the agencies. By doing so, it made the possibilities of leaks exponentially greater — as was the case with General Flynn.

On that point, Nunes said he is actively trying to find out who leaked the Flynn surveillance to the media — a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison. He wants to know why Trump’s identity was ‘unmasked’ in the ‘incidental’ surveillance reports and whoever did it might be the person(s) responsible for the leaks that might send them directly to jail.

Last 30 seconds was telling. “Once you understand who did the unmasking” you realize how difficult it will be to actually pin it on the illegitimate one.

This guy is as guilty as anyone and would have covered it up if Montgomery (and his attorney) hadn’t unequivocabaly threatened to go public if Nunes didn’t spill the beans to Trump. He was trapped and he knew it and there was no way out but to tell Trump.

Nunes is no hero in my book and needs to be “drained” with the rest of the swamp.

You can see in his eyes how pained he is to be the one delivering this information.

This whole Obama illegal surveillance scandal is so much worse than Watergate.

When Nixon’s political party became aware of Nixon’s actions, they were disgusted.

The senior statesmen of Nixon’s party at the time, former GOP Presidential Nominee Barry Goldwater said: “There are only so many lies you can take, and now there has been one too many. Nixon should get his ass out of the White House — today!”

Senator Goldwater and another Republican Senator along with a Republican Representative met privately with Nixon and told him he had to resign or THEY would impeach him.

What we see with Obamagate is the leaders of Obama’s party coming up with lies and deflections to distract and intimidate everyone from looking at the plain truth – Obama and members of his administration and party abused the Office of the President to use illegal surveillance against a Presidential candidate and a President Elect for political purposes.

The only thing worse than Watergate is the fact that Trumps team is colluding with Russians to get him elected. Duh.

You must be fucking stupid beyond all measure to believe the Russian misdirection. Hilary had the White House handed to her on a silver platter and lost. Because the Russians? Right. Ok.

If Obamy made sharing of intel possible because of his last minute rule change that permitted sharing of intelligence between all of the agencies, how difficult would it be to “undo” it just as quickly and put a stop to it now. And why is it not done??

To let them use it, then build a story against it. It will be undone once the perps are outed.

Oh yes god forbid agencies share information. Because the lack of sharing wasn’t a root cause of 9-11 or anything (extra eye roll)

” In denouncing leaks Monday, Mr. Nunes was doing his best to deflect attention from what appears to be a substantial ongoing FBI investigation into whether members of the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.”

    Nice Try Nunes

Not sure how stupid you have to be to still be pushing that narrative after the sworn testimony stating that there were no ties between the Trump campaign and the Russians… my guess is pretty stupid.

I love your uncritical citation of a publication that has been caught in at least a dozen anti-Trump lies (which the editors knew were lies at the time of publication) while citing “fake news” – the lack of self-awareness is hilarious.

      Ignorance is truly bliss.

Nunes is a moron. He will be the first high-profile member of the Trumpetariat to go to Tennis Jail. It is a true pleasure watching his career start to crumble.

He will go to jail, not for the reasons you think though – mainly because he knew about this a long time ago and didn’t come forward until a whistleblower threated to go public with the information.
