Trump actually stands a decent chance of uniting Congress and America. He can be a total jackass a lot but he’s just so damn likable. I think we probably all have friends like that in our lives.

Much of the libtardian world view and social life is based upon bonding with others against Trump. In other words, they’ve found their unity already and it’ll be tough to win them over.
More likely, Dems and the libcon media will continue to play to them and will seek to win back the working class Trump voter who will lose government benefits under Trump’s domestic spending cuts.
His speech and proposals are ideologically as much old school Democratic in nature as they are Republican.
He has basically left no safe haven for the libtards but to consolidate around the egregiously far left agenda of transgender bathrooms and wrestlers, LGBTQ+ folks, communists and anarchists.
They are in a corner with no room to maneuver.
