Here is the Biggest Threat to Trump’s Presidency

Since the election, markets have begun to price in a faux inflation — something the Fed has been desperate in doing for the past two years. This has given them the gumption to, finally, embark on an actual path towards higher rates. Gone are the days when Yellen would merely threaten to hike rates, but actually do nothing. Now the Yellen Fed is armed with FAKE inflation news — which in turn has caused yields to spike higher.

Let’s be clear: if Trump is unable to improve the US economy, he will be a failed President. He lacks the ‘coolness’ of a thin smoking Obama — lauded and adored by a sycophantic media — fully supportive and congratulatory of wanton bombing of brown people by hordes of Barry’s drones.

Bear in mind, our beloved Republican conservatards presided over Obama’s 8 years of ruinous spending — accumulating more debt than every other President COMBINED. Of course, the stock market is at record highs; Obama has spent 9 TRILLION DOLLARS more than the budget permitted — effectively doubling the national debt to $20 trillion. On top of that, the Fed’s balance sheet has increased from $800b to $4.5t under Obama.

In all, the government and the Fed have stimulated the economy with more than $13 trillion since 2008.

It would be all too coincidental if the republicans, all of a sudden, found religion on spending and stood in the way of Trump’s fiscal stimulus projects — namely the great big southern border wall. To that point, spiking yields on treasuries doesn’t help the matter — as the interest to carry new debt rises — so do the chances that Trump’s plans will be derailed.
