The idiots at CNN and other ‘news’ agencies are reporting that Trump is requesting funding for a southern border wall, suggesting Mexico will no longer be ‘asked’ to pay for it. Maybe it’s due to poor breeding or they’re just idiots, but Mexico was never going to be asked to pay, but instead made to pay via special taxation. Being that Mexico enjoys a rather profitable trade surplus with America, a modest taxation of Mexican goods coming into the country will not only pay for the wall, but also the many crimes they’ve committed against these great lands, via wanton importation of illegal narcotics and people.

Makes perfect sense, pay to play. Import taxes will help pay for drug treatment centers, job re-training, criminal justice/immigration, etc. There are real costs involved with Mexico’s lack of border control. They should start paying until they get it under control.

In the memo, Trump said he would threaten to change a rule under the USA Patriot Act antiterrorism law to cut off a portion of the funds sent to Mexico through money transfers, commonly known as remittances. The threat would be withdrawn if Mexico made “a one-time payment of $5-10 billion” to pay for the border wall, he wrote.
But to be fair he probably said a hundred different things because he’s a fuckin’ loon.
