    Congrats America 😀

You have given your country a chance again. Here’s hoping PRESIDENT Trump lives up to our expectations and isn’t gentrified too much.

Risk off assets (bunds, Treasuries, Jpy) not really showing the kind of moves one would expect given a serious risk off market. Indeed much of the losses recovered and S&P is up on the week.

Plunge protection team doing it’s job or are we going to have a Brexit type V shaped recovery and then some?

Hillary didn’t give a condolence speech as she is putting her affairs in order – before she goes to jail 😀

Hmmm……Risk On is taking off. Dow not breaking 18000 and S&P seems to be holding 2080. FTSE100 flat on day. Gold slammed back down as has Vix. US 10yr Treasury down on day. Doesn’t really feel like Risk off just yet. Where is the fear?

Maybe a new President but same old guards? Will this be held up until January 20th? Can’t have Obama’s only legacy of stock market highs disappear before then?

As someone from UK, am happy for you provided the system does not try and derail Trump in some way (just look at Brexit).

Judging by the move in markets over the past three hours, something tells me a free market is still a long long way off.

Just want to add I’m also from the UK and and absolutley buzzing about the Trump victory, congratulations to all Americans who figured it out and decided that Hillary was not the better of the two. Trump’s no angel either but his acceptance speech was a masterpiece and the “Seek common ground not hostility” comment was music to many ears.
Congratulations to America and it’s people for making this happen, as a Brexit supporter, I know how sweet this must feel for so many.

It’s laughable reading the comments on Twitter – just read #notmypresident.

      So much fear and stupidity.

What really gets my goat are comments like below:

“This is exactly why women don’t report sexual assault. A man can have double digit accusers & still be elected President. #NotMyPresident”

How do you even start to reason with such mentality!!!

I’ve been arguing with friends with the mentality you speak of on facebook most of the day, they are all Clinton supporters and are horrified that Trump won, it’s just like arguing with Bremainers actually, they fail to look at the bigger picture and see that Brexit is a good thing in the long run. I’ve had people unfriend me on FB today, which I find fucking hilarious!
Alarmingly, none of the Brits I engaged with today were well read, they knew nothing of wikleaks, podesta, foval, maids printing classified data, clinton foundation corruption / pay-to-play…not a fucking clue! Perhaps I should unfriend them first for being as thick as shit?

Unfriend? No, use the opportunity to educate, consider it your altruistic deed towards the less informed.

Voted for Brexit too (simply because I believe the EU will fall apart in the next three to five years). Fortunately I don’t get sh*t as I am brown and Muslim (go figure) – 😀

I’ve no desire to try and educate, if they are smart they will google some of the inconvenient truths I dropped on them today and they will find the light themselves.

I dodn’t get a chance to vote Brexit, I work in Thailand. On the news here they just had a Clinton supporter who said “I’m shocked, saddenened and scared for the future of my country today” I feel quite the opposite though, actually I feel as though the world is a slighly safer place today?
Brown and Muslim and Brexiteer? I wonder how you get along with the Bremoaners who insist you must be “stupid racist uneducated white trash”?

My dear fellow – no self-respecting libtard would ever accuse a brown, Muslim, Brexiteer, of being anything but the salt of the Earth who can do no wrong :-p
