The Market is Long Overdue a Sharp Sell Off

Any readers of my site know that I am an avid promoter of the Exodus predictive algorithms. What exactly do they entail? Aside from 500,000 lines of code, we run 125,000 computations per hour, taking in a sundry of data points from both fundamental and technicals schools of thought, alongside a sophisticated forward PE ranking system and using historical market correlations in treasuries, commodities and currencies against the market to produce the world’s best market intelligence platform–hands down.

Having said that, the last Overall market oversold signal occurred in July, before that in March.

On one of the main macro ETFs, QQQ, the last oversold signal was in early March. That’s six months ago, unprecedented.

It is a little steel rod that juts out from a fire extinguisher looking thing. Then a meat hook comes along. The Bull feels nothing. Supposedly.

It sure looks like it, chart-wise. However, when I read about stuff like the recent mini-scandal at calpers, I have to ask: “What are these pension funds going to do?” They have to do something. That something is probably going to be the purchase of stocks and junk bonds.
