The empire strikes back. It’s hard to believe just 1 week after U.S. Government officials accused Russia of hacking into the DNC, leaking the emails via Wikilwaks, this cyber attack on Russian agencies is just a mere coincidence.
Perhaps this is an example of 21st century ‘mutual destruction’? Instead of building nuclear silos and long range. missiles, we send out geek squads to shut shit down via the internets.
The hack reportedly targeted a number of government bodies.
A “professional” cyber attack has hit Russian government bodies, the country’s intelligence service says.A “cyber-spying virus” was found in the networks of about 20 organisations, the Federal Security Service (FSB) said.
It said the hack had been “planned and made professionally”, and targeted state organisations, scientific and defence companies, as well as “country’s critically important infrastructures”.
The malware allowed those responsible to switch on cameras and microphones within the computer, take screenshots and track what was being typed by monitoring keyboard strokes, the FSB said.

The first shot of the Third World Inferno has just been fired.
This seems a bit staged in all honesty… and SHOCKER all the news outlets point to Russia hacking DNC/Clinton in spite of any proof or detailed analysis to substantiate the claim?
Dude staged is nothing. Check out ‘Redacted Tonight’. The most recent episode opening monologue from admittedly a Bernie friendly show is a bit eye opening. Welcome to America.
I’ve heard there’s evidence it was Russia but have seen any details. I’ve also heard our gov knows who did it and is sitting on the information.
The cyber shit is the the next level for sure.
And who’d you “hear” that from? A Hillary/DNC spokesperson?
The FBI, WhiteHouse, nor her own hired security firm CrowdStrike has backed up the “Russia” conclusion that her campaign and this nameless “federal law enforcement official” (that the NYT quoted) seem to be telling the press.
The thesis goes like this: Some of the code language had Russian in it & the IP address came from Russia. Lastly, some of the open source FuzzyBear code that was used by a previous attack (unproven but thought to be Russia) was found.
Anyone with a working brain knows that any individual, hacking group, or multinational in the world could have pulled this off the exact same way.
I listen to a lot of podcasts brah
