Shares of Nintendo Flame Higher Again, Charizard Style, Due to Pokemon Go Success

Shares of Nintendo are higher by another 22% this evening (trading in Japan), due to the overwhelming social success of the Pokemon Go app. The stock had gone higher by 10% on Friday of last week.

Nintendo

I’ve been summoned by my children to seek out Pokemon, walking around and driving. The app is a work of genius. Water pokemon can be found near the water, while other geographical elements dictate where you can find the other monsters. I’ll say it again, I’ve never seen anything like this affect young people. While the game still keeps people on their electronic devices,  it also is forcing them to go outside and actually walk. Amazing.

Nintendo owns 33% of Pokemon and stand to make a mint from this.

I was driving around my neighborhood looking for a god damn Snorlax, the son of a bitch jumped right up on my fuckin dashboard, almost popped a curb and mowed down a lady with her stroller. Shit’s addictive. I caught the Snorlax, case you were wondering.

With the exciting launch of Pokémon GO, there’s an overwhelming demand for new Pokémon Trainer Club accounts. Our team is hard at work improving the sign-up process. Until the work is complete, for a brief time, we’ll be limiting the number of new accounts that can be created simultaneously. If you’re unable to create an account at this time, please try again in an hour.

I was quite alarmed when one of the newer custodians at my place of employment (a 23 yo veteran) snapped a photo of me while I was out of doors enjoying a pipe. When I asked him what the hell he was doing, he proudly turned his damned phone around to show me a Pokemon hovering about my genitals. EVERYONE under 30 seems to be entranced with this madness.

It appears your crotch is a hotbed for living organisms. May want to alert your previous partners and stop by a clinic.

There’s hordes of people playing this game in Boston. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s Sunday night too! I expect it will die off in the winter…

Crazy people running around the streets. Only a matter of time til it leads to violence and an excuse cover up for breaking and entering homes.

My neighbor was playing and it was basically having them hop their fence into someone else’s property.

I had tons of folks walking around my neighborhood in the jersey city waterfront stopping every ten feet to catch them. A few stores are paying to be pokemon hotspots. Quite out of hand.

Wife and I were sitting in our house and she notices some kid walking around on the edge of our yard today.
I went out and asked him if he’d lost something. … ( he looked a little “light on his feet”)
He looked up from his phone and turned it screen toward me to show me Pokemon Go grinning like a demented lunatic.
That’s all he did. Then planted his face back in the phone and bounced off in search of whatever it has you search for.
    Very strange dude.

Some growing pains. Problems are very isolated right now (such as the Missouri case where the game was used to lure victims for armed robbery), but the mix of virtual and reality that makes the game so attractive might create liability issues and could be trouble in the hands of malicious hackers.
