It was a harrowing scene in Dallas, with reports of at least 20 shots fired. This eyewitness, interviewed by Fox News, said he saw an officer gunned down and described the events that led him to seek refuge, after being shot at himself.
Update: reports suggest 3-6 cops were injured during shooting.
Update: There are two gunmen. The first one has been ‘neutralized.’ The attempt to neutralize the second one is underway.

Cops help me everyday by enforcing the law and keeping chaos at bay, otherwise we would live in a war zone.

probucks, the weapons that some police departments have currently are indeed excessive. But that sure does not make it right that people got injured and killed tonight just because they were cops. This is a horrible tragedy.
Killing innocent people because someone of that same race or occupation or whatever, has hurt or killed someone, is just horrible. You probably have some things in common with someone who has killed someone– occupation, race, religion etc. Does that mean you deserve to die?
This is so awful for the injured and killed police officers, and for their families and friends.
