Atlantic Council: BREXIT Won’t Happen; The Will of the People Unimportant

Here we go again. Fred Kempe from the Atlantic Council, which is a Washington DC think tank dedicated towards the “mission to encourage the continuation of cooperation between North America and Europe that began after World War II.” In other words, they are a globalist propaganda arm whose sole purpose is to draw intellectually persuasive arguments to subvert the will of the little people.

Kempe makes the case for Britain to ignore the BREXIT referendum, citing three previous instances in Denmark and Ireland where referendums were ignored. This, of course, will be at the vanguard of the “ignore BREXIT” talking points, trying to persuade people to delay or deny the referendum from ever seeing the light of day.

Expect to hear a lot more of this horseshit.

You know they’re getting desperate when the CEO of a major think tank comes on teevee to blatantly say it’s a good idea to completely ignore the will of the people for the ‘greater good.’ After all, Merkel needs to succeed in forming Germany’s 4th reich, a unified Europe to usher in a new era of prosperity.

Hello totalitarianism.

CA has ignored the will of the people many times so I don’t see why they can’t ignore BREXIT.

This is the Best a Draghi Day can do? Us Bears are not scared at all. His “Saving the Europe Banks” really can’t be even started until 3 quarter after the EU Bank Stress test is done. Kuroda comments couldn’t even get much of a rally last night….bottom line the Central Bankers are weak.

    Interesting wikipedia on Atlantic Council

“Members are “from the moderate internationalist wings of both parties.” Sounds like they are globalists Republicans and Democrats both.

“In September 2014, the New York Times reported that since 2008, the organization has received donations from more than twenty-five governments outside of the United States, including $5 million from Norway.”

I’m not sure why or whether Britain would care what this Atlantic Council thinks though.

The EU does cause problems by taking away national sovereignty, so that nations have no control over certain areas they previously had control over. I don’t think it’s Germany, or any nation, that has the control though. I think it’s banks that have the control.

Germany is at least as likely as any other nation to end up being screwed by the EU, especially since they end up being responsible for the debts of countries like Greece, that do not handle their debts the way Germany does. Greece shouldn’t have to handle their debts the way Germany does. But since they do not handle their economies similarly, both Germany and Greece would be better off if they unhooked from this EU train that joins them together artificially.

I actually like international organizations when they work to help their members. But the evidence seems to show that the EU doesn’t do that.
