Even the Dalai Lama Thinks Germany is Nuts For Accepting So Many Refugees

I am sure there are activists organizing right now against the most peaceful man on earth, to castigate him a racist for suggesting that Germany should be populated by Germans.

Over the past year or so, Germany has been a prime destination for Syrian and Afghan refugees, amongst other war stricken areas. The numbers are likely in the millions, in spite of the German government’s insistence they’ve merely taken in a million or so.

The Tibetan spiritual leader said that “we feel the misery” of each individual refugee and that humans have a “responsibility to help” — but that there are “too many” who have been accepted in Europe.

“Europe, for example Germany, cannot become an Arab country. Germany is Germany,” he laughed in an interview published Tuesday with Germany’s Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper. “There are so many.”

The Dalai Lama said that “from a moral standpoint” he thinks refugees should “only be accommodated temporarily” — with the goal of them returning home to rebuild their countries.

Upwards of 80% of the ‘refugees’ streaming in are males of military age. Officially, Germany expects close to 4 million fresh refugees by 2020, costing the Germany people upwards of 400 billion euros in subsidies to accommodate the new ‘citizens.’

As you were.

I can understand why the Dalai Lama thinks that the refugees should get temporary shelter and then return to rebuild their homeland. But for it to happen, there needs to be something close to peace in Syria, so they have something to return to. This is not an easy problem to solve. It seems like everybody and their brother and sister is over in Syria fighting each other, for some reason.

This “simple” chart of the war in Syria shows it’s actually mind-bogglingly complicated

    http://www.vox.com/2016/2/16/11024056/syria-war-chart

So perhaps the Dalai Lama and others should turn their attention to the matter of how to help Syria to become peaceful enough that refugees have a place to go back to that is less dangerous than when they left. And the same with Afghanistan.

How do these countries get to a place where people are not fleeing for their lives?

Is this the first war in the Middle East? This large migration of fighting/breeding-aged males has never happened before in history.

This must be the first war in the Middle East.

We must help the fragile, precious fighting/breeding-aged men.

Frog…. intelligence is knowing where conscience ends and pragmatism begins.

Of course this isn’t the first war in the Middle East. But, if you expect the Syrian refugees to only have temporary shelter in Germany and then return home, then how is that going to happen, with conditions remaining just as bad as when they fled for their lives to begin with?

Are you suggesting that Germany just throw them out, despite the fact that they have nowhere else to go, and have them wander around the world homeless? Or what?

Somehow I don’t think that’s what the Dalai Lama had in mind– although he may not have thought it throught that far. I respect the Dalai Lama a lot. But I notice that he is not returning to Tibet to rebuild his religious organization.

I am very pragmatic. Are you? If you are, just how is this going to work?

Frog… these fragile fighting/breeding-aged males do not intend to go home, and Germany has no intention of sending them home. What will Germany do, round them up and load them into trains?

These fighting/breeding-aged males are not fleeing anything. The Middle East is not Scarsdale or La Jolla. The Middle East has been awful for a long time and that is normal to these fighting/breeding-aged males. Normal to them. Been this way since before they were born, yet not until recently have millions and millions of male street-fighters chosen to migrate in herds towards Europe. How is this happening? Why?

And before you tell me you are simply advocating we allow them safe harbor whilst their country repairs itself a la Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and every other hellhole over there let me ask you a question: If it was just about helping people, why shan’t we take in all of Africa as well as all of the Middle East, or even just the women and children these hardened, streetwise bruisers left behind? I would say most of Eastern Europe should head our way as well. Or, scratch that, they are certainly not heading *our* way [thank you Trump]. You are advocating they relocate into someone else’s back yard. How many would you personally take in? I would advise you take in no more than four violently shameless perverts. They get a bit randy in groups.

But, again, they are not fleeing anything. They are seizing the opportunity to take a free ride in a new society where they can live a better standard of life at someone else’s expense. They just need to maintain the idea that they are “asylum seekers” and not rambunctious, rapey street fighters. They have not mastered the art of deception yet. After all, they are just street fighting rapists, not clever con-artists like Barack Obama and whoever else is behind this massive migration of stone-throwing sexual-assaulters.

It really goes back to my original question: Why are millions of ass-grabbing batterers choosing now to migrate, herd-style, to Europe. The Middle East has never been a nice place to live. Those societies still operate in the 9th Century. There are forces in the West asking that they come. Who benefits?

Infinitezuul, how can you look at the situation in Syria and say that they have no reason to flee for their lives?

HOW FOUR YEARS OF CIVIL WAR HAS DESTROYED SYRIA (This article is a year old; now it’s 5 years.)
        http://www.newsweek.com/how-four-years-civil-war-has-destroyed-syria-313819

“Human geography has been transformed in just four years, the report warns. Syria’s population has been hollowed out by 15 percent; more than half of Syrians have been displaced from their homes by violence. More than 3.3 million have fled Syria as refugees, with an additional 1.5 million migrating to find work and safer terrain in other countries.

“Physical trauma is rapidly escalating too, the report says. At least six percent of Syria’s population has been killed, maimed or wounded over the past four years. The number of injured has reached 840,000, while the death toll almost doubled in 2014 and is nearing a quarter-million people—with no end to the conflict in sight.”

I am not saying that every country should be required to take in as many immigrants as want to come in. I support Bernie, who is clear that there should be limits on immigration.

Since Germany already took these folks in, if they want to send them home, then they need to be aware of what it is they are sending them home to.

Yes, some of them have committed criminal acts. But the vast majority have been peaceful.

If Syria can find peace, then this refugee crisis would be over. Why not look for a way to peace for Syria?

Infinitezuul “There are forces in the West asking that they come. Who benefits?”

Perhaps if these folks do eventually assimilate and hold jobs, then they pay taxes and contribute to the economy of Germany. Other than that, I don’t know. Do you know if anyone otherwise benefits from this in the West?

I am seriously trying to figure this stuff out, but a lot of the time it does not add up.

I know there are conspiracy theories that claim to explain it, but those sound like bs to me, no more likely that Michelle Obama being a transexual.

Here was Donald Trump’s solution to this problem, here. To stop fighting ISIS in Syria and let ISIS take out Assad, and then the U.S. goes in and picks up the pieces.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/mitt-romney-donald-trump-isis-60-minutes-ridiculous-2016-3

Although I am not a supporter of Trump, the idea doesn’t sound any more ridiculous than anything else I’ve heard. Obviously what we’re doing now is not bringing peace to Syria.

I wish people would start thinking about this situation and figuring out ideas on what should be done about it. If peace can come to Syria, the Syrian refugee problem would be solved. Over. Done. They really could all go home and rebuild their country. And we could all focus on the next problem that our country, or the world, needs to solve.
