It’s not a smart idea to bet against Jim Chanos. At first, I was a skeptic, painting him in the same corner as other, nefarious, bears. But, over the years, Jim has proven to be a firewall between reality and perceived reality in the companies he shorts.
He’s probably the best in the business in identifying actionable short bets. At a minimum, he is worth your attention when he discusses a position.
