Chipotle upgraded to Overweight from Neutral at JPMorgan JPMorgan analyst John Ivankoe upgraded Chipotle Mexican Grill to Overweight from Neutral and raised his price target for the shares to $510 from $465. The stock closed yesterday down 35c to $444.27. Chipotle’s same-store-sales are set to sequentially improve from their bottom in Q1, which will allow investors to focus on earnings recoverability, Ivankoe tells investors in a research note. The analyst expects the company’s earnings in its fiscal year 2017 to be very close to its fiscal year 2014 earnings. This shows that the food safety crisis caused three full years of lost earnings despite stores over the time period rising to 2,483 from 1,785, Ivankoe points out. His upgrade centers on Chipotle being a “highly meaningful brand” that can regain customer trust with time. The analyst expects normal earnings growth to resume by fiscal year 2018 and believes 20%-plus growth can be sustained through at least fiscal year 2020.

I eat quality red meat only. No one needs much of it. I had some grass fed, free roaming Australian, tenderloins that were……….. offensive to all vegetarians out there, I know. I beg your forgiveness and acceptance.

I couldn’t bring myself to eat venison burger or rabbit. The rabbit was at Le Bec Fin, in Philly, and it was shredded and formed into a terrine. Some french food is not all it’s cracked up to be.
My Grandmother lit up at the sight of a fresh rabbit. Off the bone, properly seasoned/marinated/cooked, I could probably enjoy it.
Wait for CMG to hit $560-$600 again and short as much as you possibly can.
I am their target demo. I used to go there weekly. Have been back twice since people started puking on their families and keeling over after eating their salted-burritos. I live in a “hip” area filled with young people. Our CMG is always empty now. They are toast.
Probably good for a bump up then the stock will continue its decline. Would be interesting as a buy if the stock forms a double bottom around 405.

You know, bellying up to the sneeze guard a CMG is like being a cow or pig walking up to the feed trough. I prefer old fashioned fast food but they need to PR it and become responsible about where the food comes from, the ingredients, etc. etc. etc.
$MCD And some McDonald’s, you hired the god awfullest designer to design the outside and inside of your eateries. So unappealing to the appetite unless you are a trog. And your yogurt parfaits are great but skip the blueberries – – too often woody and inedible.
I go to an upscale neighborhood, Chestnut Hill, PA and the $MCD is designed beautifully. I go to others and they are architectural abominations with vomit colors and play rooms that look like the entrails of a dinosaur. {{Shudder}}
So, other than the ingredients, the dining space, and the exterior architecture, you like fast food?
