You are just commentating the demise of the republican party. I will be surprised if we elected a Republican president in the next 12 years.
Yeah, the Dems are for Trump for the GOP nomination. Because in a general election, the guy’s toast.
But Americans elected 2 GOP dominated Houses of Congress in the 2014 election a little over a year ago. So the demise of the GOP is greatly exaggerated. The Congressional districts are quite gerrymandered toward the GOP. And tons of voter suppression is going on. So the GOP rule could easily continue, no matter who the pres is.
Everybody gets all worked up about the presidential race. But Congress makes the laws.
