I had never seen that video before. Rubio is embarrassing. Christie raped him. Rubio comes off like a programmed robot. And the establishment was nuts to get behind him full throttle rather than Cruz, once Jeb dropped out. But I guess now we’ll never know if it would have made a difference if they had rallied to Cruz instead.

LOL, no one is disputing the accuracy of his statement. It’s the fact that it was obviously a canned line and he used not just once to dodge a question and promote some key message his handlers told him to stress instead of directly addressing what was asked, but 3 or 4 times the same statement over and over again – when it had nothing to do with what Christie said to him. You can say something truthful in principle and still come off like a total moron and two-bit propagandist in doing so.
In fact, Rubio proves in this video he would make a great White House press secretary. They are full of canned lines in response to unrelated or tangentially related questions in order to push an agenda of their handlers onto the press and the listeners (in this case, the administration).
