The set up is straight forward. I am looking for a huge reversal in sentiment today, which might be spoiled by Yellen’s speech tomorrow. Or, if she’s clever, today’s gains will triple tomorrow, after a dovish outlook on rates is communicated to the markets.
Either way, Le Fly is a net buyer of SPY, having done so sub $184 at the open.

Why a huge reversal of sentiment? What has changed? Of course if Yellen backtracks a little the market will rally, then fall as traders even-steven out of the market.
Just a little mean reversion
But can’t that happen at any time? I see some shorts covering today pre-Yellen but the sentiment I sense is get out of the trades from last week on a bump up.
As a sometimes bear I sympathize with their sentiment on occasion.
Here’s to hoping they are all tossed from hot air balloons.
