I realize it’d a little unfair to place all of the blame on @Jack when @Dick was busy at Twitter, readily destroying the place for the past few years. Nonetheless, I find it amusing that he’s now CEO of two (count ’em) publicly traded companies whose share prices are broadly underperforming the market, both down about 30%.
If I were to take out my calculator, I’d find that the market value destruction, under a certain Mr. Jackard Dorsey, is in the range of $5 billion. In other words, he’s the Ron Johnson of tech CEOs.
Should @Jack be fired from both companies? Probably not. Is it appropriate for him to be the CEO of Square, whose market value is 1/10th of Twitter’s? Only an orangutan would do that.
Jack should quit being an orangutan and focus all of his efforts on trying to pull Twitter out from the grave it’s currently domiciled in.

I would say buy the close and sell the open has been working , but maybe sitting on my hands for tomorrow is more in order. Imho.
Simple Jack doesn’t really want that job. He’s made his money. In his mind, he’s off to the next venture. He just had to step in to keep the ship afloat. His best bet is to find a buyer of said company for the name if that’s even possible.
You ever see a co-worker come back to work as a consultant because they are the only one left that knows the system? Jack has that look. He’s there because he was there first and knows the original intent. But you can just tell, if it wasn’t for the money, dude would be off elsewhere doing something. He isn’t there because he wants to be there. He’s there because he has to be.
Watched Tropic Thunder with my niece last weekend. Great film.
Twitter [both the service and the stock] belongs in the garbage along with my March QQQ calls bid that will now definitely not be filled.
Dr. Fly,
I know you run a tight ship, so I thought it pertinent to bring to your attention that whoever is running the “@ibankcoin4tw” handle on twitter deserves to be thrown overboard. They keep tweeting old posts that are no longer relevant. Frankly, some of them put my favorite financial site (iBC) in a bad light since some of these old posts are laying out the thesis for trades that have turned out to be poorly timed in light of the past couple weeks action. please tweet pictures of yourself kicking this degenrate down an empty elevator shaft……its annoying to click on a new tweet thinking there is some fresh content only to realize its a post from last week.
Not if I see you first

I actually know Jack’s gf. She has him brainwashed with her hippy ways. Peek into her Instagram account and you shall see.
Does she show her tits? Because if not then there is no interest.
We got our rally that lasted more than 5 minutes. Next we look for a rally that lasts more than an hour. We’ll get there.
Perhaps he’d like to take his companies private? He strikes me as being that kind of dude. Destroying their value as public stock might help. Maybe he doesn’t like his owners?
