Get this: Iraq sold over 1 billion barrels of oil in 2015. In other words, we “liberated” Iraq, using American blood, so that a corrupt government could take power and flood the market with cheap Iraqi crude, crushing American oil interests. Moreover, the remnants of the Saddam loyalist “Republican Guard” were spun off to start their own dark realm, dubbed ISIS–who sells their crude for under $10 per barrel.
Iraq said it exported 1.097 billion barrels of oil in 2015, generating $49.079 billion from sales, according to the oil ministry.
It sold 99.7 million barrels of oil in December, generating $2.973 billion, after selling a record 100.9 million barrels in November, said oil ministry spokesman Asim Jihad. The country sold at an average price of $44.74 a barrel in 2015, Jihad said.Iraq, with the world’s fifth-biggest oil reserves, needs to keep increasing crude output because lower oil prices have curbed government revenue. Oil prices have slumped in the past year as the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries defended market share against production in the U.S.
Has there ever been a worse foreign policy blunder in American history. Once again, no one is held accountable.
Oh, by the way, the spokesman for the Iraqi oil ministry goes by the name of a Mr. Asim Jihad. You.can’t.make.this.shit.up.
As you were.

Why is Isis selling a $44 barrel for fucking $10?
They smuggle it out and have been selling it for 1/4th of market prices for well over a year. Google it.
I thought they “conquered” it by shooting people in the streets. Still, 1/3 is doable?
Nice post on tankers by the way. Long tnk with a $5.99 stop
The Russians say that ISIS is selling it to the family interests of Turkish leader Erdogan. I think it is probably true. Certainly the US government knows where the oil is going, but does not want to speak badly about our NATO ally.
I think it’s probably true as well.
Mr. Jihad, please meet Mr. Caliphate and Mr. Taliban. We are sure you’re get along swell.
After many several minutes of reflective thinking, I cannot come up with a single incident of American foreign policy more blunderous than Iraq. Poignantly, the Iraq adventure marks the first time in American history when the Business model directly presided over the helm of the US superpower.
Chess moves. Does anyone know how much oil is in the sands of saud? Keep in mind no fucking water.
So, we (united states of America) build an oil drilling boom based on new technological fracking shit all for not???
Who knows who is controlling our foreign policy? Since the Citizens United ruling, it’s even easier than it was before, to hide who’s giving the donations to political campaigns. It could be mostly foreign nations, for all we know.
To Unrelated– it was partly the business model and partly the neocon model. Neocons are totally out of touch with reality and proud of it. So they should not be allowed into government at any level.

You seem stressed on political shit. Why?
Fly doesn’t seem real happy about the U.S. involvement in Iraq either. That’s what his blog post was about.
Yeah, sad. Meanwhile, China didn’t sacrifice any soldiers but ended up with many of the oil contracts.
Ding ding. Putin getting cold.
Jebus, coffee has been decimated. Check that. All commods in full retard mode
Copper chart is amongst the best. All kinds of trade ops chief fly.
Fly,
What if the Donald is our next prez? Do you see this impacting our approach to the policy?
He’s not going to be our next pres. The Republican Powers That Be do not want him because he doesn’t take order well. They will do whatever they have to do, to get rid of him.
It’s a wash. Those peeps that drive around in yellow, I’m about to strike snake, liscene plate people. I found out they are tea party. Tea party?
I hadn’t seen one. I just found it on google images: yellow license plate snake
