I do this every late year, and without fail, there are always monster turn arounds the following year in the mega-cap space. Large asset managers need mega-caps to thrive and will pile into these things at the first sign of strength.
The following stocks are the worst performing mega-cap stocks of 2015, as defined by market caps in excess of $50 billion.

Talking my book: KMI. Trying to get mom to buy WMT & dad to buy QCOM. If they don’t, I will.
Market wants cash flow and a reasonable growth rate. If energy/commodities rebound then anything in that space will have a low bar to meet or beat in 2016. Don’t love QCOM or AXP, whats the catalyst here, both have execution issues.
BABA is the blacksheep, they have staggering potential but the structure is so confusing. If the market decides they only care about growth this might be the next AMZN.

WMT is circling the drain. Too much headwind to their business model and even the po folk are running out of other people’s money.
We all know the right idiot in the wrong place could send oil up 2X in a matter of hours given the volatility of the Mid East and the camel jockeys and sheep humpers that run the area.
So KMI is one.
We all know that Germany will go to the mat for VW same as our government did for GM. That being the case VLKPY has to come back to at least the 35-40 range. The engineers did a big boo boo there but Germany is known for nothing else but having excellent skills in that area. They will find a way out. Maybe messy and probably costly but they will not sink. Their national pride is at stake here.

Yes I do. My premise is that the Middle East soon plunges directly into hell itself, Armageddon style……maybe even nuclear style because the Russkies will have no compunction about using them if they are pissed off much more than they are now. There will be a lot of radioactive glass over there…….
This forces the US to dive headlong into it’s own resources (AKA shale) and KMI does huge work developing pipelines and other various means of moving energy from point A to point B.
