Tempted to Buy Meat

Both SAFM and PPC are edging higher, buoyed by seasonality factors and also due to giving ZERO FUCKS about the bird flu in ‘Merica. We will eat the bird flu and lather BBQ sauce on it to boot.

There are big shorts in these names and it is the perfect wall of worry to climb. All of these bears out and about fear mongering over the food supply.

PFFFFFFFFFF.

These two meat stocks are gonna light fires onto the faces of short sellers, then broil them for fastidious ingestion.

Think I just saw that Freddy’s sign on a Bourdain re-run ? His show last night was in Glasgow. Fly if you like to punch faces and fist fight that’s the town for you.

PPC and SAFM are going up because of bird flu. That’s not a bear thesis. It hasn’t moved south enough to influence the major producers. So as of now you have 10%-15% of supply being taken out of the market without effecting PPC or SAFM supply. Also, the “fear mongering” over the food supply is also a bull argument, not a bear argument. The bears are watching pullet placements skyrocket and expect chicken prices to crash late this year..bird flu is pushing that outcome further into the future.

“As you can see by the comments section, it’s a desolate ghost town, hardly anyone talking shit. ”

The whipsaw of the past five months has eviscerated the accounts of a ton of retail leeches. And as the saying goes – when the going gets tough, the tough get going. But that’s perhaps 1 out of 100 people and I’m probably being optimistic heree. I’m rather excited by the lack of participation – I’m seeing the same over in the evil lair. This means we’re about to head into kick ass trending tape. Trading blog comment participation the ultimate contrarian sentiment indicator.

On PPC short intensity is 89%, this has happened once since it returned post being taken private. Shorts made 3.9%. Agree worth a shot on the long side to at least $30 if not prior highs. Good idea
