Why not just add moar aal
I own plenty of AAL. I wanted MOAR airline exposure without making AAL too big a position. There is always the individual stock risk to consider.
I highly recommend SAVE. = ZERO debt. NADA.
That being said, SAVE looks good too.
Zero debt during a period of boom means nothing. Companies that are highly leveraged to the boom do better.
True, but most airlines eventually get crushed by the debt used to purchase aircraft. Obviously not a problem currently. SAVE leases their planes, so in a downturn its easier (cheaper) for them to adjust.

As we head into 2015 and the market rallies, don’t make it too hard, folks. just go long the stuff that works: QQQ; that etf is up everyday..nuts. Picking individual stocks tends to not work so well during extended bull markets like this one.
