“The Fly” is a man of the people, a person of ‘extreme caliber’, who was genetically designed to outperform equity markets. There will be periods of duress and glitches in the matrix; but rest assured, everything works out in the end.
For reasons that are a bit obvious, today is a bittersweet day for me. Nonetheless, I will persevere and thrust ahead, as nature intended.

Trent, as entertaining as it is for we the reader-class to zip in & out of iBankcoin, while gleaning ideas & making dummy comments, I can only imagine it can at times feel like being strapped into a heart attack machine for those that consistently provide quality content.
Constant demand for actionable ideas, in which your reputation is on the line, all while managing the social interaction aspect as well as managing your own book…and one’s life. You get the picture.
I have no idea why Chess left. The man is a human stallion. I’ve truly never seen anyone like him. I am as fond of Chess as any hetro could possibly be. I’m going to miss his being a part of iBC.

I’d give it something official if I had any information. He blocked all of us from his StockTwits, Twitter accts and disconnected his number. I have no idea why he left, other than his desire to start his own site.
I had him in my house several times. He broke bread with me and my family. I viewed him as a friend and a colleague. I think I deserved better than an email resignation.

Had he come to me and Matt, I would have helped him transition to make sure he did it right. This is just wrong.
Maybe he didn’t know how to have the hard conversation of wanting to strike out on his own? Until you see people leave a company/group/organization “the right way” and leave “the wrong way” and then the aftermath of both, you might not know how to leave gracefully or the affects you can have on others…leaving appropriately wasn’t something I learned in school.

People move on – it’s true. It may be better when it’s done “properly”, yes. Chess has built a lot of goodwill with me, among others, so I’ll not call him a rapscallion just yet. I’ll miss his stellar market recaps on the iBC site, even if they may be found elsewhere. It’s nice to have a “one stop shop” for trading right here.
Also, it demonstrates a lot of class not to shit all over someone who leaves like so. This is just another reason why iBC is the cream of the crop. Well done, sir Fly.
